my xtr has been good to me would never call it ugly :)
The Corally Kronos XTR is a great rig. It had a couple of bad YouTube videos from prominent YouTubers that seemed to be tar it as the Kraton's poor relation.

I had a direct video response from one of them, stating that they were going to give the Kronos XTR another go with revised parts. I'll link the video when I can find it.

KT even admitted that if you do normal with the XTR, that's it's nicer to drive than the Kraton and more like a racing Truggy.

The XTR is a great looking chassis and it's body is original, breaking from convention. No one can say that it's styling is ugly compared to the Arrma offerings.

Do you know if the Kagama handles as well as the Kronos? Although I sold my Kronos I must admit it was the smoothest, best handling RC i've ever owned. If the Kagama handles like the Kronos, i'm thinking to get one

The Kagama is a refined version of the Kronos, with more rugged mouldings. The Kronos has more weight bias towards the front, which generally makes for more aggressive steering, but the Kagama has less severe front drive angles, which is preferable from a wear rate perspective.

The Kronos is an excellent handling rig, but the drive angles are poor - much like the OG Losi 8 - which had perfect central engine placement, one of the best jumping and handling buggies - but poor front drive angles and high maintenance.

The Kagama will handle well, but less aggressive than the Kronos. 💪👍

Yep! You're welcome and thank you. I raced over 3 decades, but not so much any more - not that I couldn't - just that I do lots of other stuff to commit to every weekend etc.

The Kronos XTR is a fine handling rig with a great motor and esc package (fast - but motor gets toasty really quickly!).

I want the Kronos to go faster. It's sitting at 69mph with 0-60mph @ 3.79 sec on 6S. To go faster, it has to be reconfigured. Dogbones wear at a horrendous rate on the front due to angles, including kick.

Now it's as nature intended, and unbridled. 😝
