New centre rear drive shaft is here , not bent either rolling down my iPhone , so that should make the rare 6s runs better .

That’s better , with the new rear shaft , she is now silky smooth , right up to the time she hit a tree , I can see now why I used a truggy all the time on my uneven lawn , that wallows and soaks them up , the buggy hits them and instantly changes direction . The moral is , I must stick to 4s in my garden , the buggy is literally brilliant . So it’s back to the talion till the parts arrive .

Awesome! Glad you're enjoying the Radix! You make some good reading material too! I've enjoyed your thread thus far:)

To date, my only TC is the XTR, but I may pick up one of the 6s buggies in the future.
I do have an X-Ray buggy which I converted from nitro to brushless. It is an enjoyable buggy, fantastic handling even if it is a 2007 model!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
For me, the buggies are more enjoyable on 4s vs 6. Between the nearly uncontrollable power and compromised handling of 6s weight, then there's the wear and tear from being overpowered..nah. Just me.
So at some point, I'll buy the 6s buggy and run it on 4s. I like to have the extra durability of the 6s rig even though I use it with less power (4s).🍻

Hello there , many thanks for your kind words 🍻 I have a typhon 3s/4s and a typhon 6s , talion 6s . The radix 6 on a good 4s battery , 16t pinion , is a rocket , and to me ( don’t tell anyone ) the best of them all ( in my garden ) and I suspect everywhere else I go that’s smooth-ish . The talion over the rough n in the woods will still take some beating . BUT that’s rare for me . I have a ton of spares coming , my 120c race packs aren’t far away , I have this week off , so after the extreme heat days we have forecast , the radix will rock once more

Ideal time to go wide buggy! I've got Kronos arms on my radix, best upgrade I've ever done, sure it takes a little away from the buggy experience but gone are the traction rolls on turns and kick outs like what you just had happen, at 15.5" wide she's almost a perfect square, short and fat, love it!!

Believe it or not, that talion is quite a blast on 4s too👍My brother has the talion exb, he has much more fun in smaller running areas on 4s with it! Welcome aboard if I missed your introduction 😁 Sounds like you've got a sweet lineup of rc's there😃🍻

Oh absolutely, they all have their place, I have rc's I only run on 2s, just depends where you're running, power isn't everything although is fun!! Prime example is my xtr primarily lives on 6s because it's a blast, however if my plans for the day is simply to be hitting the ramp it gets 4s, more than enough, just depends on the application

agreed , they all have there place , when i do visit a bigger space the talion is awesome , the talion is on 4s duties this weekend , gonna enjoy a few packs in my garden to get the feel for it , i think my 120c race packs are coming today , if not when they arrive , i`ll try then .

Found a happy place with the talion on my lightly puffed 4s 4200 pack . Put a 23t pinion in , she was getting hot but it is a tad warm out . Gives me a little project whilst I wait for the radix parts to arrive . My lawn is all but shot in this heat and the cars 😀

That garden is crying out for a huge send it ramp..!! 😎

If my lawn were that big I'd build a halfpipe 🤣🤣🤣
i do like a big ramp , but i also love belting around trying to miss the trees , maybe one day Brian ;)

a cheeky grab from amazon , gotta be worth a punt

She’s back in one piece , modelsportuk did a great service indeed . My new Amazon lipo is arriving today too , but it’s in the 90’s out there , so the buggy can wait till the end of the week when it’s much cooler and hopefully raining

Got my voucher for the upgraded hubs , funny thing is , it’s 20 euros postage to uk ? So no point there then 😂

I ordered a load of other bits when I got my HD hubs to make the postage cost spread a bit thinner. The new design hubs are ridiculously strong though so I'd argue it is worth it.

I have another voucher coming in lieu of the centre rear driveshaft 👍🏻 So I’ll have a little spend soon 😎 👍🏻

The new lipo arrived a short time ago 👍🏻 So she’s ready for a test , tomorrow is supposed to be hotter than today in the uk , so will leave till Wednesday when we have rain forecast all afternoon , now that will be fun on the lawn 😀

It’s 35 degrees in the garden and quad drillion in the garage , so the buggy has been brought in , the shock oil has got a tad thin , so she was sitting low 😁 so one quick run with out the body , even with the fans she got hot fast , so she’s indoors and cooling , she’s just too good to ruin

How is the esc running temp wise? Comparable to motor or is it running cool?

The reason I ask is if the esc is still cool but you're cooking the motor then the system is working really easy and the extra heat in the motor is from spinning a lot of rpm so toss on a bigger pinion, if they're both similar them you're probably dialed in fairly well

Great info , thank you . The ESC n Motor seemed equally hot by finger . I need to raise the fan off the motor to get better airflow , and all it’s doing today is shifting hot air . But that’s all for another day . To hot for this me is all this

What an absolutely brilliant buggy , it was only 31 degrees in my part of the uk , I dropped the pinion down to 15t to help with heat , shes been 3s ,4s and 6s , all day , mainly 4s I’ll admit , 6s is rubbish . 3s for a relaxing but still quick drive . Tried to take some action shots . It’s been a great day off and in the garden
