Nice weekend of bashing here.
Full throttle and a bit of jumping (still learning) No damage.
Some bad landings but the Sketer took it like a champ 💪
Motor got hot after 2 lipos but no cut off due 2 the new blower.
Gonna go back there soon.

Thank's for this hint - that's a really cool shop, not only for bearings but also for all that small RC-screws, etc. ... and prices are very fair as well, approx. 1€ per bearing is about the half price you pay elsewhere ...
Type in search: Sketer. That's brings up full packs. Even cheaper. Got them myself

Thanks ... I just ordered there as well ... the set of bearings for the Sketer and some other "useful" small stuff.

RC 101. Why didn't anybody tell me that you have to put on the transmitter first en then the ESC? And turn off ESC and then transmitter? My Sketer took off like a rocket into a fench and rolled over. If it didn't it would land into a ditch..... With water 🤔 Looked up on the internet what could be the problem, it's normal and it is the first leasing in owning a RC car. I feel like a noob 🤫

Yes that's the general rule, ON transmitter then ESC / OFF ESC then transmitter. The other day I was driving my MAXX and the transmitter was low on batteries, I didn't realise how low they where and it shut down right when I was on throttle and it took off and crashed, after a few seconds the receiver realised it has lost connection and stopped but it was scary. So the lesson for me was replace batteries as soon as the transmitter says they're low.

Only if he got it from a van that pulled up next to him like this one

Another good advise, check the battery from the transmitter 🤪

Hahaha not good enough. Not a fan of reading manuals when i don't need it 🤫

Got a hw programming card comming (blue one) Any Idea what a good setup is for the ESC for my Sketer? Read somewhere that the brakes had to be tuned down. Any more advise?

Found this on YouTube:

I did change the following values on my Sketer (by using the SET button, I don't have a programming card):

2. LipoCells: Changed from Option1 (Auto Calc.) to Option4 (4S)
... because I only run it at 4s
3. CutOff Voltage: Changed from Option3 (Intermediate) to Option4 (High)
... this depends also on the battery you are using. However, with this setting my ESC cuts off now when the battery voltage is down to around 3.7V, which is about 20% capacity remaining. Just my personal preference to not empty the battery too far.
7. BEC Voltage: Changed from Option1 (6V) to Option2 (7.4V)
... the higher Voltage increases performance of the servo and the receiver did not have any issues with it up to now
8. Brake Force: Changed from Option6 (75%) to Option4 (50%)
... have heard that many people have changed that (like in the video as well), also in my case it did some (unwanted) somersaults with the 75% :)

Good advise. Gonna do the same but i think lipo cells stay on auto. Should not mather anyway 😉

Fitter a 15t pinion and another fan 2 my Sketer. Next thing is some custom 7075 parts from Erik van Ravenstein and program my ESC with the Hobbywing program card. Hope i installed the pinion right🤞Followed the manual. Keep you guys updated.

That center diff looks killer! Cool to see the aftermarket parts making their way to Sketer.

Erik van Ravenstein makes some well engineered parts. Only a limited amount. Hope he will join this forum soon. Told him about it. 🤞

Oke, body has arrived. It is about 1 cm tall er then the original and i have 2 cut out some parts in the front and in the back due to the front bumper and wheelie bar. And holes to fit the body clip thingies. But i think it is going to fit. And i don't need the shock tower anymore. Thickness is about 3 mm. I think it looks good on the Sketer. If its all done i post other photos

looks like its strong and durable 😉
