Sketer Widening with hex extenders - a good idea?

The Kronos width is 465mm and I just measured the ‚real‘ length of the Sketer - it is 465mm as well! (the official stated 547mm are including the bumper and the wheelie-bar). Well done to get it exactly to this 1:1 ratio 😉

Are wheels, servo, esc and motor still stock or modified as well?
I'm building the Sketer into a trail basher and have a thread going here: https://www.corallyforum.com/threads/trail-basher.289/page-2

Thanks for the link, I went through your thread - this did answer my questions … and this is indeed a very special project. Good luck further, I will keep following it!

Out of curiosity I measured my wide Sketer, from the outside to outside of the drive hexes I got 16 1/4" wide and 13 1/4" long.
I took my measurements with the arms at full droop, it'll sit a tiny bit wider with the suspension compressed to ride height.

I had the same thought yesterday … the wide hub one with all long axles made of spring steel and a good discount! 😀
I hope my hex-extender setup will last until then.

Would be nice. Gonna keep it stock untill the spring steel widening kit is available......hint hint Corally? 😉

I'm not sure if it's wider than it is long, I haven't measured for that.

I suppose you could google Kronos width and compare that to Sketer wheelbase?
I would also be interested in seeing the width and length of it :D

So it's wider than longer :D :D :D

I thought about buying everything to do a proper widening, but didn't feel like throwing more cash at a kit that hasn't even arrived yet...should find a big box in the garage Thursday afternoon!

You are right and the Sketer runs abosolutely fine with the stock setup already. In my case I just had to do something to compensate for the different offset of the bigger wheels I mounted. A big box on thursday afternoon? It seems to get an exiting weekend for you with the new toy ... enjoy!
