Guys, while taking apart the center differential, I noticed that the paper gasket is torn. Before I go ahead and buy a replacement—only to end up paying more in shipping costs than the part itself—could you tell me what its thickness should be? I’m planning to buy some gasket paper sheets to make my own, but I’m not sure about the correct thickness. If I get it wrong, I risk compromising the tolerances once the cover is bolted back on. I tried measuring it with a set of calipers and got 0.56 mm; I assume it’s meant to be 0.5 mm, but I’d appreciate your input to be sure. Also, would the gaskets for the front and rear differentials be the same thickness?

I’ve set of his somewhere I’ll measure thickness of them when get a chance
Thanks, I have the differential open; if you could provide me with the measurement, I’d be really grateful—that way I can put everything back together 👍

Three unused spares I have measured 0.5mm +- 0.05mm uncompressed. The center diff gaskets also measure 0.50mm.

RC gaskets tend to be 0.50mm thickness I've found over the years..

I recently made these bulkhead gaskets because Arrma want a rip off amount of money for just three of them.. I used 0.50mm gasket paper, 2x A4 sheets cost 1/2 the price of what Arrma wanted for 3 gaskets..!! (worked out I could make 33 of these from the 2 sheets of paper I have)

Mine measure 0.4mm I wouldn’t go any thicker than 0.5mm as going too thick will affect the gear mesh
