The Mojo and Kraton have undergone a few changes recently.. and as you can see, never washed!!😜 Actually that's not true, I washed a whole pile of rc bodies last fall. Not that you could tell that now, LOL.
But yeah, the Mojo originally got the Kraton arms and related parts, Kraton got the Mojo parts.. but then I decided to narrow the Mojo and widen the Kraton by a bit. So the Mojo got narrow hubs, Kraton got wide hubs. I like the current setup the best thus far.. I plan on buying some proper race quality rubber for all my truggies going forward, no more DTX, Losi or TRX crappy tires with open cell foam. I finally realized if you want the good stuff you gotta pony up for it, LOL. Not that I've been so disappointed by the tires, but the open cell foams just deteriorate so quickly it's saddening..
Here's a couple few pics of the two from last year. You'll notice that the Mojo was a Kraton XL until the RC Shredder body crumbled to bits, which prompted me to revisit and modify the Mojo body to it's current state..

I don’t know which one I like the best! They are all freakin nice!

I love the skinny Kraton and wide Mojo is just incredible!

This gives me all kinds of crazy Frankenstein ideas!

Nice monster brother! šŸ‘šŸ‘ šŸ‘¹

Thanks brother!! I like to make them my own. You may have spied my ET48 in one of those pics, it was an MT410 v1, now stretched out on an ET48.3 chassis with a TC Punisher body, much more useful to me now. Or this SCT410.3 now serving as a 4x4 ST of sorts..

Redcat Shredder. It is fairly poor quality plastic, like some biodegradable crap or something, not polycarbonate for sure.

If I were going to try again, Redcat Machete would be a better choice, pretty sure that body is polycarbonate, and a tad shorter so should fit better.

I just like the shape, it looks boxy and squared off. Unfortunately I find a lot of the bodies I like aren’t made too well. I thought about getting one the ā€œunbreakableā€ bodies but for the same money, I can get a LOT of cheap bodies. There’s definitely some parts I will pay up for but bodies don’t usually make the cut.

I hear that. I think the Shredder body was around $35. Only available prepainted unfortunately. It survived in warm weather relatively well, winter forgettaboutit. Was different looking though.

I think the rtr tires work okay for most, at least for bashing where folks are running on differing terrains. I never leave home with my rc's, so my use is atypical in that respect. I do have a good sized yard, but TBH running on grass doesn't really excite me. For a quick test run maybe, or the occasional ramp session, but mainly I'm running on the track. I do have a set of the Hobao truggy pins, too fine of a pattern for the dusty clay I think, plus they're relatively thin and light. I don't think they'd hold up to a heavy 6s rig. I ran them on the Kaiju with 4s for a spell. The wheels are 1/2 offset which the Kaiju needs for stability. They might be worth a shot on the Asuga. I literally have cabinets and bins full of rc tires/wheels, at least 50 sets of all scales, tread and sizes. Too many LOL. I didn't grab any pics of the Mojo with the Losi XTT but did take a couple pics of it with the Katar T's on. Also a pic of the narrow Kraton with BE Coolrich from AliEx..

Wow...lookin nice! The rigs look pretty good, the track looks like a blast too! I've been itching to go out and run the Shogun again; it's been about a month since I've last had a chance. Mother's day, wife's bday, son's grad, vball games, my youngest has his promotional and then his bday, and my niece has her grad party.

Probably another two weeks out from getting in the dirt again. šŸ˜‘
