All of it!Just won a battered Shiroi Roller on eBay! Now how much powers should I give it!
If you want a track car, make it a ‘spicy’ 4s Shiroi. If you have a relatively flat large space, you could go for a crazy 6s setup.
This was us yesterday in Shiroi battle. All running a different 4s setup (max8, 2x max6, xlx2). Helluva fun time.

This seems like a nice combo, been meaning to get the chubby Kagama to run cooler and that looks like an affordable wayMine has a max6 v3, Rocket Supersonic V2 4292 1780kv, 17T pinion, CNHL 4s 5000mah G+.
A relatively cheap setup with plenty of power for the track.
17T if the biggest pinion with the stock spur gear (easiest mesh setting ever, just put it against the end of the motor mount and done). You could go to a 46T spur gear for more gearing options.
I’m having doubts on the XC esc’s. I had two power cut-outs in my onroad drift car (ZD Racing EX07) on a brand new C8 esc. This seems like a nice combo, been meaning to get the chubby Kagama to run cooler and that looks like an affordable way. Max 6 ver3 or XC C6 which ever is cheaper I suppose and cannot go wrong with them Rocket rc motors for the money.
In that case I’d go G2. I have a G2 combo (more amps, bluetooth and sensored compared to the v3), but there are some big discounts on the old v3 from time to time.Is the Max6 G2 worth looking at? Price difference isn't significant
That was my C8 in my Radix6. I had it paired with a 4274 2500kv Surpass motor and a 18t pinion.I’m having doubts on the XC esc’s. I had two power cut-outs in my onroad drift car (ZD Racing EX07) on a brand new C8 esc.
I adjusted the LVC, which was on 3.6v, but lipo’s were in the 3.8v and we want to the track with the buggies. Haven’t ran it afterwards, so not sure if it was the LVC or the esc. Someone else in our group blew his C8, but it was pretty agressively geared.
Right now though, I would go HW instead of XC, since I have HW in all other cars and never had issues.
I hope it was the LVC on my C8 though.

It's actually a C8 and a 4292 in 1780 kv in mine.If you want a track car, make it a ‘spicy’ 4s Shiroi. If you have a relatively flat large space, you could go for a crazy 6s setup.

I thought you also had the max6 in the shiroi. You switch your electronics too often. It's actually a C8 and a 4292 in 1780 kv in mine.
If the LVC was set to 3.6v then it was absolutely the LVC because that's way too high.I’m having doubts on the XC esc’s. I had two power cut-outs in my onroad drift car (ZD Racing EX07) on a brand new C8 esc.

You're absolutely right. The skid plates are worn down to within an inch of their life. I spotted that too and thought exactly the same as you but then I wonder why the tyres are hardly worn. I would have expected to have seen shredded tyres but perhaps he changed those, they might be the 20th set, these tyres don't look like they've even been bedded in.Are the skid plates worn down? looks like its been ragged about on tarmac or something to wear them beefy things down. I've had my kagama since winter 2024 and they still got loads of meat left on them but I only abuse it on dirt n grass.
Looks sound from the pics , good find![]()
I'll be honest I tape and shoegoo all of my bodies before they go anywhere. It's cheap and it saves money on bodyshellsThe Shiroi body is pretty fragile, @Rotauq and mine were showing mulltiple cracks after one the first afternoon racing. I have too say it was winter, but I doubt that made a lot of diffeerence.
We both patched it up a bit with tape and glue and still use when we track-bash. So an additional crack or two doesn’t ‘hurt’ that much
.
Oh and we got a new clear body this winter, but haven’t run it yet. Still shimy![]()
