Hi, can some one help me on where I can mount and where to wire in a Team Corally XF-40 fan on a katana 1/8 6s TIA for any photos or information. Live in rural Australia so I’m lucky to get about 4 minutes before getting to hot.

That is a blower fan which is quite uncommon in RC so I'm suprised corally sells those. I don't believe the Kagama has a dedicated mount for it so you will have to make one of your own. If you have a 3D printer that is a good option, otherwise plain zipties might work. You can also buy aftermarket mounts but that might be a bit hard for a blower fan. Also be sure to think about some sort of protection to keep your fan from clogging up and overheating your electronics.

Kagama's ESC don't have an output cable for lights/fans etc?

That fan is mounted at the base of the fan you will need to drill 2 holes in your chassis or side guard and to mount it, 2 screws couple & washers all need.

Sooooo this fits the kagama 6s??!!
You would need to order the proper size but there are many available. I’ve had good luck with the DM covers and I’ve picked up a couple cheaper options on Amazon, they seem alright but both of the cheaper options started to break down prematurely compared to the DM’s . The DM XXL will fit a Kagama.

Ohhh i wish this was 10hours earlier because I didn't get one at lhs due to uncertainty of size needed! So thank you immensely!

It’s a Hobao Hyper SSTE roller that I threw an extra Kuron motor in along with a 6s sec. It gets the most use out of all of my cars, it’s just fun, tough and stupid fast.

It look like an XRT in a way am I wrong? Lol sorry if that's an insult but I said looks and I think the XRT look nasty!... just rather TC 💪💪

No insult, I’m just not a Traxxas guy, better ways to send my $$. Hobao has been around forever, just not highly popular in today’s market. They make a Hyper SSTE, 1/8 truggy that comes rtr or roller. I have no idea what’s in the rtr, I’ve never looked. If I’m patient, I can usually find the rollers around $200-220, for that price it’s a steal. Throw away the crappy wheels that come with it. Throw on some sweeps, drop in your electronics and go. Not as durable as my Kagama, but pretty darn close.

Hobao 1/8 Hyper SSTE 80% Arr HOAHBSSTE

XRT plastic chassis look nothing like an sste lol, sste has be 1 best value truggy you can buy, in term’s performance reliability bang for buck not much come close.

Agreed, when I can pick up a roller of that quality for under $240.00, I’m definitely not gonna complain in any way, even when it does break, which it almost never does. 🤔

Hey.... i was just saying it looks friggin saaweett! I know it's nothing in comparison and yes waayyyyy better options to drain the bank account on lol.

I can’t recommend these enough! Get a good dust cover! Between the cover and dual fans my Kagama never overheats. 👍

I'm gonna have to try this on my Shogun. Our track has a plethora of different-sized rocks that make it almost everywhere in the chassis. I've even found some in my esc fan. 🤦‍♂️
