You can bend Kydex by applying heat, but I don't have the right kit here to reliably repeat bends.

Nah you're right, I'll do some old style wide arm ones, it's not loads of trouble.

I love that picture of the buggy because it has my stickers on it!
I saw that buggy for sale on eBay about 3 years ago lol had never saw the winglets on a corally before so saved the pics, what’s chances it had your decals 😂

pretty bloody slim I'd say!

Finished drawing the Asuga inserts. Are you in the UK? If so I'm happy to send you a set to test.
I appreciate the offer but if I’m realistic my build probably be on the bench for a month or 2 yet by time I get a few more custom pieces made & money for rest parts. If want to help sales send them to a YouTuber or 2 to test. In the uk Vapor rc comes to mind think he has an Asuga might even be a member on here. Think his Asuga on EVR chassis

I have Edwin from “fool send” details I could ask him if you like, they be properly put to the test with him he sends it big.

If want to put them to the fool send test Edwin is happy to test them out

The Kydex came in at last and I had some spare machine time yesterday so...

Amazing work 👍🏼

Jesus, postage isn't cheap, will probably leave that. I'd have to sell quite a few to get the cost back.
No worries completely understand I’ve shipped stuff to the states lately couldn’t believe postage costs, luckily my mum works in post office she told me to repackage my stuff originally had it in big box but split it into 2 bags worked out about 1/3 cheaper but still expensive. When I mentioned them to him he did say he didn’t think corally arms needed them they stiff enough but I think most adding them be more for looks than performance. Postage costs from some places is ridiculous I’m looking at castle motors perfect pass cheapest even with postage @£32 . £32 for a motor to be shipped to uk 🤯

Here’s a thought mudguards don't know of any for Asuga except 3d printed or universal ones same for the kag4/punisher etc reckon you would do well with those. Phase1 rc make some for short arms but they listed for sketer so nobody knows about them really lol

Yeah I doubt they add any stiffness, their sole purpose in my eyes is to look pretty

Are you aware of a downloadable Asuga mudguard? I don't have one here to copy

Quick Look came across this site lots corally files, Asuga file for mudguards has someone else’s logo not sure if can modify the design/file , 3d printing I ain’t got a clue about it.

Brilliant cheers, I got a 2d vector out of that so next opportunity I'll crack on.

Actually scratch that, it can't possibly work unless I've made a mistake, the original size I get as 105mm and that's nearly as long as the arm and the holes aren't in the right place.

Not my wheelhouse I’m not that computer savvy, I don’t know how hard or much time it would take to design or create file or could ask on the bashers group maybe someone in there has a file they be willing to share
