Just got my new Syncro 4 recently.

1st run, broke a lower suspension arm, bent the steering rack bar and also bent both front driveshafts.

This is Corally's second chance with me, I owned an Asuga a bit ago which I really enjoyed driving, but it wasn't durable or reliable enough unfortunately.

Keen to hear others experiences on the Syncro and how well it holds up long term.

What the hell broke it so comprehensively? 😬

The Syncro has been a pretty good buggy from most reports pretty durable from what I’ve seen you must be given them hella hard time, but did see someone go to town and upgraded his a lot with spark adu parts bit of customisation involved but nothing too major, but Syncro is the entry level buggy so some parts aren’t as durable as 6s lineup

I’ve seen nothing but praise about it, seen a few upgraded to 6s also if I didn’t have the Spark it would be one I’d have to have

Some jumps off a fairly small plastic skate ramp, on grass in a park area.

It did suffer a few side landings and awkward front corner landings which is what broke it.

I didn’t really abuse it, especially since it’s brand new, I don’t really abuse any of my RC’s I just drive them fairly hard.

It reminded me of when I owned an Asuga, broke a rear arm on that, relatively easily.

I think the plastic that Corally are using isn't up to the quality and toughness that Traxxas make their HD suspension arms out of.

I just haven’t had any issues of course it’s something I’ve done but again some of the weirdest small hits sometimes give some dumb damage

Can upgrade it this one has a lot of spark parts fitted to it, adu hinge pin holders, shock towers & t2t brace, spark arms, side guards & bodyshell

Not familiar with Syncro, but we race Sparks on 4s. Well, a lot of the time it’s more like bumper cars or an occasional wooden pole that jumps pit of nowhere that we hit😄. To my knowledge none of us has a broken part yet, apart from wheels that crack or a wing or a bent shock.
Pretty impressed with the Spark.
I’m still running the stock shock towers, although I’m pretty sure I need to upgrade to ADU not too long from now. One of the guys bent it on the first day, bent it back, but next day it bend again. His ADU is still going strong.

The Spark is my favorite so far I am eating up Amazon pinions they are Mod1’s so I ordered some Robinson ones last night 14-15-16 17’s are out of stock for now on there site

I highly recommend Tekno pinions with an M5 grub screw.

Knowair got me on to these. And he was 100% right.

As you know, this particular member is not one for needlessly throwing cash at things. So when he stated that they were worth the extra coin, I took notice. I'm very glad I did and I regret my earlier pinion purchases.

Buy right - buy once! 👍

Really appreciate that tip looked on line saw Robinson and Tekno were the highest rated. I’ll go on and order the Tekno’s also

Been the same on all so far start hearing a strange noise first time thought it was a fluke this time figured more to it and TC doesn’t have anything but stock gearing or lower in inventory

Great news Kagama4 back up and running Spark parts arriving today also. The new diff from Jennie’s which I installed the Swiss output cups with HD Kagama rear dogbones. Also replaced the original Spark battery straps installed a set of FreeWing 6s straps have so many laying around where I’ve converted to 8s on my larger jets. Have some rain today don’t feel like cleaning afterwards hopefully things will dry out in a day or 2. Oops on a plus side the BadLands are amazing on the Spark the grip and air control so much better than stock tires.
