Onto the next stage 😉

Stripped out and ready for some upgrades..

IMG_3245.jpeg

Carbon center braces 😎

IMG_3214.jpeg

Center diff upgrade because I need the diff to handle extreme power 😉

IMG_3246.jpeg

Stock factory setup had plenty of oil inside, time now to strip it down..

IMG_3247.jpeg
IMG_3248.jpeg

Have gone with 300k for now, but may change to thicker 500k if it's needed.

IMG_3249.jpeg

Diff all built up and ready to go 👍🏼 in my opinion these diffs are far superior to anything Arrma has to offer..!! The build quality, fit and finish are so much better..!! ( they also look like awesome 😎 )

IMG_3250.jpeg

Upon fitting the diff I noticed it has more end float when fitted in the mount than the stock diff, so I have fitted a couple of shims inside the end mount to lessen the end float ( these are the regular diff shims, they are 13x16x0.1mm if I remember correctly 🤔 )

More soon 😉👍🏼

Next up...

The steering and front end.. This is the stock setup and it works well, but who doesn't like mods..!!

IMG_3257.jpeg
IMG_3258.jpeg

These are the new parts used, with one exception C-00180-737 this part doesn't fit correctly due to the way the Skeeter's front wrap around bumper fits..

IMG_3259.jpeg

This is where C-00180-737 would fit but the bumper mount stops it from fitting correctly.. I ended up using some 12x4x0.5mm washers behind the bolt heads ( not pictured here )

IMG_3260.jpeg

And all pimped out..

IMG_3262.jpeg

Front and rear diffs were all good from the factory, but I've changed the oils to my preference.. 50k front and 30k rear

Have been changing bolts to cap heads as I go, here you can see most of them :LOL:

IMG_3272.jpeg

Next up the fun begins, electronics..!! Time for a power upgrade..!!
Torox 185 with an upgraded cap pack ( BashingBrian secret spec  ) and I decided to try a fan in the end slot, not sure how this fan will perform.??

IMG_3285.jpeg

Test fitting the esc, straight bolt in because the esc tray is pre drilled..!! Just had to decide how to route the wiring..

IMG_3287.jpeg

Upgrade to 3x battery straps..

So last time you may have noticed my esc mod..!! Larger caps 😉 well, this is why...
52T spur 20T pinion..!!!🤪🤪

IMG_3254 copy.jpeg

Some test fitting here and there 🤔

IMG_3295 copy.jpeg

It fits..!! This is going to be fun 🤣🤣

IMG_3292.jpeg

Someone on here commented one day before I had my Sketer saying the receiver box was small, I joked and said just as long as my receiver fits I don't care..!! Well this is me attempting to fit my Futaba R203GF inside 🤔 the only way I could get it to fit was upside down.!!
This receiver box is small and also an awful shape, the bottom is slanted too, but I managed to fit the lid...

IMG_3314.jpeg

Didn't want to go for the wide hub setup or wide arms, so I just went with the +5mm M2C hex extenders, something I normally advise people not to do..!! I would never go any wider with extenders and if I'm not happy with it as is, it will then get the wide hub treatment 👍🏼

IMG_3419.jpeg

Haven't run the stock wheels, I bought these and they have 1/2' offset.

IMG_3414.jpeg

So for now it's all done, I'll leave you with some close ups and my painted tribute body..👍🏼 😍#TributeUkraine😍
( I can't stand the stock paint scheme, it had to go 😉 )
