Big thanks to Atomic Skull, Nelson.81 and Horatio for the chats and advice over the last year. Finally on my 50th birthday it's complete. Got $65 off the max6 v3 1650kv combo, figured I don't need sensored and got the ali 40kg load springs and 55kg agfrc monster torque servo, I know is over kill but it's fast and quite. Topped off with the terraforms. Starting off with an 18t pinion, can't wait for Saturday. Thanks again fellas

Looks fresh . Also the 4985 over the 4990 saves you from cutting the sideguards, only thing left to do is get it dirty & enjoy.

Yeah, really pleased to see it fit, all I had to shave was the rear brace to get esc wires in nicely, I've seen videos where this system gets front wheels of the ground

Where will you drive it?
Because that motor will be able to bring the Asuga upto 140kmh on a 23t pinion.
That worked very well on hard packed dirt and on the beach.
An 18t pinion is very conservative for that motor.
I am using the 18t for running in grass now. Because that's the only surface that did heat the motor up.

It's hard to find an air strip near me lol, got some beautiful school ovals always mowed. Have you had any issues with the front end lifting as I'm not sure if I need to trim the the vertical angle off the rear of spoiler. Thanks

It is plenty fast for bashing, but you got to give that motor something to do, though.
If it spools up too fast, which it definitely can with all that power, there will still be heat problems.
And I think the diameter of the 3.3 terraforms is 150mm
