I thought that big sends off BMX track berms could be expensive, but it's nowhere near as cash-sucking as speed-running. You run out of room very quickly and fences aren't very forgiving!

Speed runs require lots of space.

My 69mph run took up a huge amount of space - both to accelerate and then slow down. Then of course you have to have eyes in your ass - just incase somebody appears from nowhere.

This is over 1km of space.

Then you get things - like this dude racing me on his dirt bike:

One of these days I'll have to pop down to Bath and meet up with Jeffwaz.

That BMX track looks like a blast!! 🤩

I was not far from bath recently when I did some recording at Nam studios. 👍

Perfect! Thank you and yes I'm probably going to try around 600 front 700 rear if possible. Still thinking about the diffs...🤔
I just went straight for the 1000wt. The HD pistons have held up so far with landings from low earth orbit😂
I did have many breakages of the standard (thinner) pistons whereby they'd split down the middle. Probably a few photos on my build-break-bash thread.

What size pistons as compared to stock? 🤣🤣 can't wait to do this myself!

It's these C-00180-768

I've got the 6 x 1,4mm holes in there. They're about 4mm at the thickest point. There's also some Delrin polymer machined pistons around (from M2C) which look even thicker and stronger for when I break these.

OK so someone show me 200k 300k and 500k diff oil brands. TC has some but I'm not understanding the wt. And cst. Guidelines... I guess I can find a chart lol but I'm having a hard time finding it all. I'm probably going with the Team Losi multi pack for shock oil.. or power hobby. Can anyone point me to some oils? Lol

For diff oils, the majority of them use CST, so it's unlikely that you'll need to work out conversions.

Hope this helps. 👍

https://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/index.html 👈👈👀👀 check this site out and let me know your thoughts please?

I was wondering if mixing shock and diff oils was possible? From what I'm reading and thinking..
Mixing  shock oils wouldn't be a bad idea as long as you run your vehicle(s) once a week?? To keep the mixture from separating??
Mixing diff oils should be fine since almost immediately the oils will be mixed by a simple pull of the trigger??
I'm saying/asking all this. Please by all means correct me! It'd be nice to know if this all is possible because if so I'd just buy multiple 1mil cst and 100k cst diff oils. Also 1k cst and 100cst shock oils. I'm hoping this is possible as I'm going to be trying several different oil "setups" on both diffs and shocks, each "setup" getting atleast 5 decent runs ( i currently have 4 4s packs (( I KNOW IM GETTING A 6S battery!! LONG STORY😕))so each run will be 4 packs and all off road terrains) to determine how it handles my style of driving. Lots of thoughts here 🤔 🙄
