Hahaha yeah speed these things go they'd be lethal!!!Those are pretty nice.
lol, I find myself cannibalizing a lot of my daughter’s old stuff all the time. There’s definitely a ton of “not standard” parts on most of my cars.
I’ve been printing some plastic mud guards myself and I thought about having some thin gauge spring steel mud guards cut at work, we have a few water jet cutters and lasers that can cut some pretty delicate stuff. Really thin spring steel is interesting to me but it could also turn itself into high speed razor blades as well.![]()
Forgot to say mate,Those are pretty nice.

Thanks mate,You are likely losing air flow over the ESC and motor with those front guards, which could raise the temps significantly. I suggest you check temps with a temp gun with the guards installed and without the guards installed to see if there is a difference in temps that could stress your ESC, motor, and battery.
Hi mateI don't know what your climate and driving style is. I would recommend just measuring the temps with a heat gun if you have one or don't mind getting one and otherwise just do the finger test. If it's too hot make a mesh intake, if it is cold/warm leave it as is.
I would guess it is too hot, as for me it was already too hot stock without a guard that limits airflow, I installed a motor fan.
