I've put a XC C8 in my FG running 6S. Seems to do fine in such a big and heavy machine. It's cold now so hard to tell how it deals with hot conditions.

Your builds are epic. Kudos! But your RC acrobatics are next level. Really they are. Can't wait to see your videos and get some insights to your work here! 💪👍

Welcome aboard buddy! Thanks for joining this small (but growing) community.

The lack of a tower to tower brace on the ELT concerns me I feel like the chassis might taco if you really send it.

Don't be 'concerned'. Nobody sends it better.

If the chassis is thicker, it is less likely to bend.

In Stephane's case, it's 25% thicker than stock.

My chassis is 5mm thick on my XTR, but also lighter than the 7075 chassis I replaced. No tower to tower brace required.

I can assure you, it's not going to bend any time soon. 👍

I think personally I still prefer jumping a non-parachuting RC, like my DR8. But all that 1/5 weight certainly does carry momentum.

Got my Rofun 14S ready now. Borrowed a HW seaking 300A from on of my boats. I do wonder how it compares to the XLX2
Testing it will be hard though, with the current rain i'd be better of it being a boat

XC E5 Pro has the same problem with channel 2 on a Radiomaster ER5C-i, some sort of blurb the receiver puts out over channels 1 and 2 on powerup causes the ESC to not initialize properly. Solution is to plug the throttle lead into port 3 and either remap channel 2 input to port 3 output or just use channel 3 for the throttle mix.

The ESC generated a noticeable "new electronics" smell at first which has gradually faded to almost unnoticeable after 1 pack (can still smell it if I stick my nose right up to it) EDIT: I am 99% sure this was actually from the motor shaft touching the inside of the gearbox cover and melting a divot into the inside of the plastic cover. Rovan provides a motor spacer but no instructions on what it is or how to install it and I missed that.
