Sorry for all the posts n pics this week but I have a brilliant asuga/spark bigger buggy and the world should know 😂 I have never had a buggy that handles like it . Started my last day off on 4s and non belted MX2.8s . The slides , control , handling . It’s raining but who cares , it gets an airline blast after every lipo used too . Oh and I cut up some outcast side guards and bodged them in , not much grass gets in now

6s and spirals next , they ripped the lawn to shreds . Zero air control too 😂 I wasn’t gonna jump this today , but muck heap called 🍻

Did I save the best til last ? Yep , the lawn was drying , standard asuga tyres fitted and lawn cut . I’ll now pull the 3 diffs as they not been checked since its arrival . A great week had and I’m off to fix the lawn . Till next time 🍻

Diffs all done , they all had oil in too , so that was handy , a swift top up and off she’ll go again . Arrma diffs are easier to get too , gonna leave the side guards off so I can get my airline in better , just gotta be careful sliding into stuff . Next time it’s apart , I’ll put the 46t centre in from the spark

We need to make new chassis for our rigs. No side guards - Woven Carbon Fibre with 'bends' formed at the edges. Think about it....
  • Straight driveline angles.
  • The right amount of space for batteries.
  • Space for longer motors and
  • all the other gubbins
  • No need for stuff having to be on the wonk to fit.
  • Lighter
  • Stiffer
  • Will only flex where it's designed to

Imagine this on your rig.....😎💪

Don't ever apologise for being excited or happy with whatever you are happy with

Not a RC car
Not a bird who you think is stunning
It's certainly better than hearing the only thing people talk about, misery, or war, or rasicm ,gun crime, FFS it's endless what I could type

So bask in your new Found love, even if it's made of plastic and rubber, whatever floats your boat as they say 😂

That's rough me mate. 😬 I got the gist that your partner has left for a convict of some kind. 😱

Solidarity.

Whatever the case may be, you keep your head up and talk to us here. 👍

The love of RC cars is one of the only things that kept me sane (well, sane'ish) over the years - especially through some tough times. 👍

Guys, is the Asuga really that awesome? You're tempting me to get one when I've still had the Jambo in cellophane for months!

@Horatio, when you're getting back in the hobby you should make a thread for this! It is ambitious, but I would be happy to help in any way I can! Would be crazy if we could really make a chassis as a small group of hobbyists.

It would be an awesome project. Your help would be warmly appreciated.

The only downside is that Carbon fibre sheet is very expensive at the moment.

Not sure how I missed your post - so I do apologise. 🫤

Just FYI, I'll be making a start on the Kronos Carbon Fibre Chassis.

There are some workshop things I need, but I hope to get it fabricated over the next week or so.

I'll detail it over on my XTR thread, here.
