Hello,

Thought I would share my experience trying newish tyres for my kagama.

I was gifted some old Arrma 6s copperhead wheels & tyres the other day gotta say I am impressed with them good grip and much better side wall support than the stock wheels and tyres. It's not night and day but with the better side wall support the handling is more predictable now.

The stock ones are good don't get me wrong brilliant grip and balloon for days to help it back flip like a beast! but glad I tried these much more a driver's truck with these on , well that's how I found it. So if anyone wants to try something new on there Kagama these work lovely, oh going get some Arrma back flips 6s and try them at some point.

If anyone has any other suggestions for wheels and tyres for the kagama post them bad boys up 😀

Hi, can you tell me how heavy they are compraded to the Corally Ones? I am always struggling with tires but don't want to put additional weight on the unsuspensioned mass. Thank you!

Sorry took so long completely forgot 😅,

Scales calibrated using a standard of a 200g pack of coconut rice ...so you know it's spot on :ROFLMAO:

Here are the weights and side by side comparison so you can see the difference in them.

The Arrma ones have well meaty wheels the plastics seem well beefy but I've had no problem with the stock ones no cracks or snaps etc.

Enjoy 😀

I could never put team corally tyres on my arrma cars and never put arrma tyres on my team corally cars even though there dboots don't no why I just can't do it :D does anyone else feel this way  I won't even put traxxas oils in my arrma or team corally cars either :ROFLMAO: but if its proline or some other aftermarket company I am fine with that. or say I will use core rc oils or associated oils for shocks and diffs and I'm fine with that 🤷‍♂️

🤔

My XTR is a medley of Corally and Scorched Parts for Kraton. 😝 .....The Team Corally Kraton XTR! 🤣

I won't buy Traxass stuff for obvious reasons, but otherwise - it's fair game to use whatever works. Mix and match!

My Baja 5B SS uses TC shock oil - in IRC shocks.

Haha.
I use whatever fits.
Torox esc in a Slash.
Arrma shocks on TC. TC shock mounts on Arrma. Arrma wheels on TC. Arrma upper arms on TC.
TC wheel hexes on Arrma.
The 6s hinge pins are interchangeable between Arrma and TC, so i buy ADU's in bulk.
Screws? I am ordering complete screw kits from wherever, to use on everything.
Fluids? Whatever the shop has in stock.
I even run rings from the plumbing department as bump stops.
Whatever works.
