You're welcome bud! Good luck with your new Kagama. It's a beast of a rig. 🤩

Show us your build. Get your builds out for the lads! (Or lasses!).🤣

It's been quiet around here lately - keep us posted! 💪👍
Yes sir! I will be posting soon for sure. I have a Typhon 6s V4 that's unfortunately useless due to a small dumpster getting in my way.... Pretty much snapped pins and stuffon the front.(lol I say stuff because it's been 15+ years since I last pulled a trigger on a RC really) other then back in 2018ish when I bought my first electric RC and spent a whole 10 minutes... 5 minutes of learning the Typhon 6s V4 then 5 minutes of 😱😱🤬🤬🤬😭😭😭 as you'll see why in the picture

It sure is - quite a few of us here venture over to the Arrma site too. It's busier there - but there's great members on both forums.

Got to love Corally rigs though....

If you are in the US, parts are really cheap at Jenny's RC. Most of the US people order there parts there. To other countries it usually costs $11.99 shipping. I wish they started to sell some maintenance things like shock oil and greases etc. just at the normal price. That way it would come out cheaper with shipping. But now on most orders I would need to pay Jenny's shipping and shipping for the LHS that is not so local.

Anyway what JRC does is they buy the cars and then break them down into parts, which is way cheaper then buying individual parts. On Ebay there are also so called kit breakers, which you might find one in your country.

I'll be on jennyrc once I get home! Thank you! Also is there anyone whose shopped at https://garageliferc.com/. ? I was wondering about the Swiss spring steel pro drive Axel.

Horatio how are those graphite braces:? Also that rig...😲😲 She's sexy!
Kagama arms are a cool monocoque design. The inserts can be plastic or carbon fibre. Well as the arms can be used either side, I installed carbon inserts - top and bottom - held them in with CSK screws on CSK washers into nylocs. 😎

Ohh ok they are carbon fibre nice! Thank you! Any recommendations for battery mah size? Also I know it's generally smarter monetary wise to run 2x2s or 2x3s but so far mostly I've seen alot of high price 3s batteries that aren't far from 6s pricing... I may be wrong and thinking about 4s but I'll check again.
What's the pros and cons of a high mah (10k-22k) battery?

Should I start a new page when my baby (Kagama 6s) comes home to Daddy lol and just dump all my questions there?

I think if you want to run 6S - get a 6S pack. It's generally lighter and easier.

Running higher capacity packs give longer run time, but being heavier, compromises the handling.

So in most regards, the lighter the better.

My Onyx Graphene 6S 5200 packs are punchy and give decent >10 minutes of run time.

I also run a slightly smaller Gens 6S 4500. It's rapid on this.

And on my Onyx 6S:

Beast of a car. 😎

4S in many ways is more sensible. It takes less of a toll on the rig and is still fast without being bonkers. 👍

That'll buff right out! LOL. Totally fixable though, peeps do that to them daily! Typhon 6s is a solid platform, just terrain limited by short arms and small tires. I'd fix that for sure, honestly probably in an hour.
Enjoy the Kagama!👍

That's some great explaining if I've ever seen it! Thank you for this!

Hahah very true with the Typhon! I want to fix it but I was also looking for a kraton 6s or notorious 6s roller. I was never a fan of buggy's because of where I live there isn't many areas for the Typhon ( reason why it's smashed lol!) and or just truckify it but still battling the decision!

Mojave or Asuga tires and wheels are a nice fit for Typhon. Mojave Fortress 6s are tough tires, quite versatile too.

I run two of these in the Kagama.

Oh sorry mate forgot the bloody fans. 🫣Will get it now

Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Check it out!
AU$6.02 | 1pcs 4028 40mm double ball bearing fan DB04028B12U 1U server chassis cooling fan 12V 0.66A 40*40*28mm for AVC

Hi James, just posted the fans. They also sell 40mm fan shrouds /covers on AliExpress as well.. The fan from memory doesn't have a futaba/JR plug on the end so just grab a lead off aliexpress, couple of bucks for 5, cut the plug off and solder the wires on from the lead.. If you need photos or any info just sing out mate.. Those server fans are awesome and cheap as chips
Hi
I just brought the Kagama Truck and want to put fans on motor and on Torox 185. I've opened up the links on your post and they come up with different sizes. Please can I confirm which ones to buy please. For the Motor is it the 40mm for the 4010 40mm fan and the Fan to buy is it 2 wire or 4 wire ??.
Thank you for your help .
Cheers Jas

Hi Jas,
If you get the 40mm two wire things will be easier.. Do you have a spare servo extension cable or an old servo you can cut the cable off? If so just solder the two cables off the fan (cutting off whatever plug came on the fan ) on to the servo cable then it'll plug right in to your receiver.. You can get bundles of JR servo extension heads from aliexpress for cheap so if you don't have any grab some while buying the fans.
The fan you want for the ESC is a 30mm aluminium rocket fan or similar. Getting the red cover off the esc can be a bugger but just take your time and wiggle it off bit by bit and she'll come off..
If you need a hand or more info or links ( or photos) let me know and I'll send you all you need..
Cheers mate
Mark
