My Kronos XTR came with metal steering turnbuckles as they do, I broke one recently so just fitted the RTR plastic ones I had lying around while I wait for more metal ones to arrive..

Question, why do the plastic ones give me toe in.!! (are they too long, and how/why)

I tried changing Ackerman position with the plastic links, still has loads of toe in.. :ROFLMAO:
Checked over the truck to see if anything is bent or loose, nothing is out of place, I measured the plastic links and they are 118mm eye to eye, my metal ones that give correct toe out, measured about 116.5mm eye to eye, so in my opinion the plastic ones will always give toe in due to being too long..:unsure:

Buggy's, Truggy's should run toe out or the rig handles real bad, take a look at the pics, this is with the plastic RTR links fitted, tell me your opinion or fix.

look too long which shouldn’t be possible as Kronos has longest arms with corally plastic turnbuckle should be bit of toe out so makes me think not corally parts you’ve fitted or something installed incorrectly can’t tell from those pics

I ordered adjustable steering links.
I totally get that, but I find that the one piece versions break less and bend more than the metal ones with plastic rod ends.
Also in my opinion the Corally rods ends are some of the worse plastic ever or they're too small at the threaded end and break almost instantly on bad landings.!!

Catch 22, if the ends were stronger something else would probably break down the line, so I'll carry on for now with the original metal ones with plastic rod ends.

On a side note I do have some Mugen ends that are practically the same but way way better quality, might try them next time..!!
I'll dig out a pic later..(y)

Are you having problems with these?
5 mm rod and thick! ends by Corally on the right. I got these for the Muraco. That car has been dismantled and turned into something else. These links are going into the Fireteam. That monstrous truck only has 4 mm links as stock
Or Arrma Mojave 5 mm links on the left?

What’s the part # for the thicker ends? I’d like to buy them as my original LE ones are worn but can’t find them by the part # listed in the LE manual.

Oooh those rod ends look super beefy, I didn't know they were a thing, I'm off to the shopping cart..

@SirCrashALot .. thanks for the heads up..(y)

Those ends won't work with stock XTR links will they.?? I need to order both the above items, correct?

I think so.
To be sure, you can check the part compatibility at Corally.com.
But here's a list for the M5 steering links

The list for the rod ends is even longer.
Combined with shorter links, they will fit all 6s cars.

They all use the same arms & hubs they are all m5 & the same length, the ones you have will fit. They do 3 types all same length steel, spring steel, Swiss spring steel

Ooh, the -x spring steel links look good!! I’m skeptical about the chrome looking standard turnbuckles being made of spring steel. Doesn’t look like anyone in the US stocks the -x links. Bummer.
