I believe fast. Ot stats out fine. Then once o try to throttle it it blinks. I think. I will try it againHopefully one of the above suggestions will get it back.. what's the flash sequence? Fast blink or slow?
Might want to go through the throttle calibration process and see if that gets it straightened out?I believe fast. Ot stats out fine. Then once o try to throttle it it blinks. I think. I will try it again

I tried everything I could. Seems it's just messed up. It won't except throttle calibration..have you tried to recalibrate?
It starts off blinking red fast. I hit the set button to set neutral and it just stops blinking. Won't do anything after thatSo the program button on the power switch does nothing?

I disconnected the motor. I got it to calibrate with a different remote. Hooked up.new motor. It worked for a second or 2. Then back to.the way it was again... maybe I need to replace the plug that plugs into the receiver. It has pinch marks on it.It starts off blinking red fast. Could be the problem, hope soI disconnected the motor. I got it to calibrate with a different remote. Hooked up.new motor. It worked for a second or 2. Then back to.the way it was again... maybe I need to replace the plug that plugs into the receiver. It has pinch marks on it.
Nope. Still not working. Oh well..I'm tired of messing with itCould be the problem, hope soPretty easy fix if so.
I hear ya, I guess it's time for a new one then..Nope. Still not working. Oh well..I'm tired of messing with it
I stuck used 8s xmaxx esc in it. For now..I agree on being cheap. To many choices anyways .. probably hit up jennys rc .I hear ya, I guess it's time for a new one then..
First torox that I've heard of biting the dust, but bound to happen I guess.
So what's the budget? Castle, HW? I always go cheap, but that's partly out of need and partly for the challenge of finding the best deal. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling I guess
I should add that by cheap I mean price.. I'll buy rtr HW, but I won't buy esc's of unknown brands.
Ah yes, love JRC! I've bought a ton of stuff from them. TBH, I wouldn't bother with TC electronics if I were paying retailI stuck used 8s xmaxx esc in it. For now..I agree on being cheap. To many choices anyways .. probably hit up jennys rc .
Yes those are great. I watch for used stuff. Sometimes auchons. Got my traxxas 8s esc from auchon for 75$. Love me a bargain.Ah yes, love JRC! I've bought a ton of stuff from them. TBH, I wouldn't bother with TC electronics if I were paying retail![]()
There's a few others on ebay as well. Lumidave, rcparts4u, also dollarhobbyz, JBIRC are websites with take off parts.
Notice any difference in the 2 esc's performance wise? Just curious, the TRX get dis'd quite a bit. I have a TRX hoss, and xmaxx. They've been fine for stock setups for me.Yes those are great. I watch for used stuff. Sometimes auchons. Got my traxxas 8s esc from auchon for 75$. Love me a bargain.
I changed the motor and esc. From a blx arrma motor 2050 to the corally torox motor. It's got more torque but less top speed. It doesn't feel.as nutty powerful now. Eather the esc is set to be weaker off the line or the blx motor has more top end gusto.. it was faster with the blx motor and the torox esc for sure. Buy feels more controllable now. Maybe I'll break it less now. It's all modified now.Notice any difference in the 2 esc's performance wise? Just curious, the TRX get dis'd quite a bit. I have a TRX hoss, and xmaxx. I see. My guess is the esc has less punch, the motor specs are nearly identical..I definitely hear ya about less breakage! Too much power really isn't good IMO . I have a kraton exb with max6/4092 and while I haven't actually tore anything up(except tires), it's just more than I can really use for what I like to do..I changed the motor and esc. To much power Is indeed bad. I have put kraton exb rear control arms on my kronos. 3drc printed flexable wing mount and arrma talion wing.I see.
