So i found a Sketer.... I was wondering if the Sketer is a better buy then Kagama/punisher4? Im looking to get a 1/10 truck. Whats everyone's thoughts? Also open to any 1/10 opinions! If anyone has one for sale let me know too.

They basically the same vehicle in terms of how they laid out in the chassis but the punisher/kagama built to be more budget friendly more plastic in them, shocks, shock towers, top deck, tower 2 tower brace, sintered gears etc but this also makes them lighter. The sketer has better motor mount, spring steel outdrives, aluminium centre diff, hardened steel gears metal
Shock towers & shocks better components but also make it bit heavier, pick your poison which you prefer. If your uk I saw the sketer & it better price than kag/punisher4 id go sketer but prob get punisher body for it. But corally world good place to look at them both compare the 2 see the different parts in them.

Thank you for that! I was thinking of grabbing a brand new stock sketer that I seen but wasn't sure if it was a good choice being an older model (parts availability) and they didn't deck out the kagama/punisher 4s like the sketer as you pointed out. Definitely would slap a punisher body on FOR SURE! PUNISHER BODIES ARE SHARP!!

The punisher/kag4 use the same arms as sketer , they the same arms that where used on the radix/python buggies these can be upgraded to spark arms if wanted too. Apart from the parts I’ve already mentioned the only difference in layout in the centre diff location. Punisher/kag4 it central same length fr/rear centre driveshafts. Sketer same layout as python/radix/spark. The sketer has more upgrade options you could go full 7075 with it if wanted too you could add all the corally 7075 chassis braces , top deck , upper hinge etc or my friend do a full Erik van Ravenstein build with his. A lot said with it being heavier would been better being 6s out the box but if want to 6s it’s already got all the parts for it outdrives better diffs etc. You see lots fitting sketer motor mount to the kag4/punisher because the fixed mount in them in rubbish & if wanted too you to go 6s with them upgrading the drive cups, diffs gonna cost alot more to do than just an esc swap in the sketer.
