Had a blast wit the Sketer 4s but felt it was quite underpowered out of the box. Went 16 tooth pinion, 200k center diff fluid and Badlands 3.8's and it made a HUGE difference! Much better air control as well! BIG props to Team Corally for this awesome platform!

It's very refreshing to see another good driver send it!
Razorrc and now you are the only ones I've seen that went big without looking like a noob. 😆

Great bash!

I hope you continue to refine your setup and share what you find works best.

Awesome bash man!! TC took it like a champ👍Did you happen to check temps? Curious what it was running at, between the 16t pinion and 3.8's. Nice video, glad to see you here🤘

Those Badlands 3.8s must be something to behold. I can't keep mine off thermal cutoff with a 15T pinion let alone a 16T running Redcat Kaiju wheels/tires. 😬

Right on brother! You made it 👍🏻👍🏻

Another excellent addition to the YouTube library! That sketer took a beating 💪🏻💪🏻… the pro behind the remote might have had something to do with it 🤣😂😎

Glad you made it to the forum, happy to have you here!

He answered that question in the youtube comments. Nope, didn't check temps.

He takes many breaks from running the car to set up the next big send, the electronics had plenty of time to cool down and didn't hit thermal cut off.

Don't take his video to mean that you could run that tire and gearing combo for a full pack of continuous bashing.

Interesting
Come on, share with the class?

He's an honest guy and was forthcoming in answering the question on YouTube.

I like his channel, he seems like someone I'd invite to a BBQ.

I'm already planning to upgrade my Sketer electronics for running big tires. I just need to figure out what tires to get...

No doubt, much respect(y)

We all know that running rigs this hard comes at an expense.

Seems to me like adding wide arms, bigger tires, electronics and so on is simply making something that already exists. Jambo XP 6s?
I know it doesn't have the fancy swiss bits on it(yet), but I suspect the 2022 version will be similar to the Sketer.. IDK.

@Corey thanks for the explanation. It makes sense now. Yesterday I was hitting easy triples (relative to actually hitting the ramp square🤣) off a Killaramp with my 6s/17T combo on 4S but even with a 40mm fan on the motor, it still hit thermal. No breaks, thick FL grass..🥵
