Hows long term durability of the Kagama? Only issues I really see are with wing mount and wheels nuts which are all easily resolved. Was thinking to stick a Shogun body on one as I'm not a fan of the Kagama body

Dollar for dollar, I’ve been really impressed with Kagama durability, definitely one of my “go to” rc’s. Aside from wing mounts, nothing else has really failed. The sock tires balloon pretty bad on 6 ms but seem to old fine on 4S. Throw on a shogun body and your good to go!

Cheers man. I think i'd be looking to run it on 4s and maybe gear up. I remember my old Kronos running fine on 4s. Seems wing mount between Shogun and Kagama are a bit different. I think it's a higher wingmount on the Kagama. If I get it I may need to play around to get a Shogun Wing / Body to fit and look right

I just bought a Kraton exb. Any of you guys run that too? I was wondering if there might be more activity o. This thread given that it’s the end of summer.

@razorrc are you still running your kagama or too many other projects? I saw your video and I’m wondering if I should have gone kagama instead of k6sexb I suppose can always do both lol. Extravagant. But can still an option. Got the exp for $575 so that’s something.

I run a custom Talion XL (Big Rock 6s converted to Talion) which has lots of similar mods to the Kraton EXB. Did you have some questions about your Kraton?

I know I'm not the OP, but I've been wondering how the rear a arm durability compares. I'm debating between a kraton and a kagama, and I've heard the rear arms on the kraton are the main weakness and break frequently, but I haven't heard the the same for the kagama.

Arrma Kraton arms always seemed fine to me, maybe more driver error than something wrong with the truck.

I'm sure driver error is involved, but from what I've seen on forums, busted arms are a bit more common than other breakages. Granted I don't own a Kraton and you do lol. Have you had many breakages on the kagama?
