One question for you all, I am spraying a graphite lube to the front Outter CV pivot area. This is a dry lube I use on firearm work I do you all think this is ok to do?

Sweet just went out for another hard run on a HiVoltage pack and still holding up. Also got in my new center diff and says the 15 pinion is supposed to arrive today. But mail and Fed Ex have already been so maybe tomorrow which is cool. It definitely has more punch with a hivoltage pack like a turbo love it

Nice! 🤩

Knowair here on the forum recommended trying Tekno pinions. It's an awesome tip. 100% better pinions with 5mm grub screws which grip and hold up much better.

I use them on my rigs. 👌

Well another full hard run ran a CNHL 5k LiPo this round and just did a good cleaning lubed the joints. All I can say is for now until this fix comes out she’s holding up performing great. As a cross RC guy now not sure if many know but for planes FMS makes most everyone’s bodies along with every single company with the exception of Spektrum rebranding components so to the comments I’ve seen really doesn’t make any sense. Why bash when everyone else does the same, also saw stop production well look at the 223 series with the ESC issues there having cuts off on full throttle. Just saying guys be realistic Team Corally for me has already emailed back to replace the axle shaft CV assembly how can you complain when there is by far much worse customer service out there. Anyways going to get ready to install this new CNC upgrade center diff then take her back out for some runs

Awesome and thank you, everyone has been super helpful on this forum. Nice group
You're welcome. I've found exactly the same. Obviously, not everyone can be helped. I suspect there are certain individuals who joined and posted on this forum purely for the purposes of trolling. At least, that's what it looks like to me.

There are always 'things' on any rig that can go wrong. It's frustrating when a new release has an issue that affects 10-20% of your early adopters.

Usually, when such - arguably minor - issues arise, retailers can usually resolve matters with free replacement parts. Seemingly the offers on the table were not seen as acceptable by some.

The thing is, if you accept goods and use them, repair them, accept replacement parts etc - you can hardly expect to receive a refund afterwards, like some have been implying.

People can make outrageous claims, make noises under the pretence of 'making sure that others don't buy a defective product'.

It hasn't reasonably been established that there is even a 'defective' part yet, though it seems likely that the metal c clips are not as effective as wire wound springs. Why this should only affect one side of the truck when it fails warrants further investigation by Corally.

Some of the expectations here - 'like why aren't all the kits pulled from the shelves?' - absolutely beggars belief. Another one 'why wasn't I informed before buying one?'.

Yes, Team Corally's crystal ball department has been sadly lacking lately and we're all extremely disappointed. 🤣

Similar levels of antagonism were aimed at the Kronos XTR when it first came out. Apparently - they were total trash. So I bought one and found it to be a brilliant rig.

This doesn't make me a white knight, or a fan boy of Corally. It makes me a realist. When something goes wrong, I seek solutions. The gratuitous levels of entitlement that some people exhibit make me sick. Especially when people offer solutions hand over fist only to be met with sarcastic comments and antagonism.

You on the other hand are definitely cut from different cloth. 💪👍

I hope your ventures into RC Cars are many and fulfilling.

Some say I’m a A-Hole maybe I am 🙊 but I always speak things as I see them no sugar coating or filter here. I mean like on the jets I fly have a $700 motor in them to say I’ve spent some money into the hobby is not an exaggeration. As one of my large scale jets and favorites the FW 90mm F22 Raptor has a design flaw for the front landing gear servo gear bracket if like me you fly off of grass it will rip out after 10-20 flights it’s a known problem with a very easy fix. Is FW going to stop production send me money back no but they will handle any defects been there done that and why 97% of my planes are Freewing brand. As Team Corally with this axle issue for them to send free replacements no questions asked other than you did purchase it new that to me is fair enough. So why beat up on them, yes I looked into several brands before buying saw the axle issue comments but also so many saying how tough it is along with that. For me that’s what I was looking for a great product but mainly customer service that stands behind there products. Team Corally checks all the boxes, I’ve just had 3 more full power runs on hivoltage 4s SMC packs running hard through a corn field jumping fox holes all kinds of tractor ruts and the Kagama is monster tough. Ok it’s heavy but racing wise light means low things will break pretty easily heavy usually means it will take a beating again the Kagama is killing it for me. I mean this is my first Rc truck basher whatever it’s called and I am totally impressed. Fun fact for others on brands throwing there name on another’s product, Kawasaki and Suzuki for years split there dirt bikes up. You bought a Kx125 it has a Kawasaki frame BUT the engine trans was manufactured by Suzuki, any that don’t believe me look at one there all labeled. Same on the Rm engine Suzuki frame Kawasaki so stop bashing over such nonsense and enjoy the hobby. Kagama right at home here

1984 YZ 125 racer here! 😝 What an awesome machine that was. I remember the smell of earth, grass, burger vans - and Castrol R. 🤩

Wow someone in here my age I had the Rm125 back then went Kawasaki 125 then Kawasaki 250f before the body couldn’t keep up anymore. Definitely good times

Ok guys I know him again, tire wheel upgrades I’m more of a dirt small jumps track style racing against a RedCat Valkyrie. Speed isn’t my worry traction stability would be, the stock tires for me seem good but do spin a lot so a little more grip would be nice. Sure one of you guys can make suggestions hopefully a wheel/tire set mounted would be a plus

I just received my Kagama 4 Saturday only had maybe 5 minutes to play before the axle popped out, seems to be the left side the right has yet to come out. Unfortunately the last time it did haven’t been able to find the center sleeve, good news is I will have a forever fix coming very soon and will be more than happy to post pics on how I’ve solved the problem. With a little mechanical knowledge it’s a no brainer. Either way other than the axle issue the Kagama seems to be very well built again this is my first I fly Rc Jets also. I did see a video on someone replacing control arms shafts etc for a wider stance which I like not crazy about spacers. Anyways I have the CNC center diff ordered just asking any other parts I should order while I’m at it? I’m not big jumping anything like that mostly will be a all around fun truck for me
I had the same issue after my first run. Front left cvd shaft popped out on a little tumble. I got a replacement and when I did the EPA I just made sure it wasn’t fully extended. So when the servo stopped making noise I backed it off about 6 clicks. You can see the ball joint so it wasn’t exposed to maximum. It still steers very well and turns well so not bad

I was flying today took the Kagama with me, she stopped popped the body off and I see this. I’m like did I get a Monday truck or what

I sent a email with pic, I’m not one of those hater types. Still happy with my Kagama long as I was in business things happen, long as I took care of the issue the people were happy. TC for me so far has been outstanding and I’m good with that

Just ordered the aluminum gear boxes spring steel pieces also. Think other than 6s hoping this will be about bullet proof fence we get the track made

Found my youngest son’s plastic skateboard ramps yesterday time to see how the Kagama4 jumps. Nothing crazy like I’ve seen on Utube though, installed the 17t pinion tested some last night moved punch to 5 and didn’t like it 4 seems to be the sweet spot for me she just spun way to much. Also tried the BEC to 2 again didn’t care for it so I went back stock just want to look at the steering to get a little more tighter turns going. Thinking of replacing some of the steering with CNC components as I will upgrade to 6s eventually

Probably need to tighten the spring on the servo saver might help improve the steering.
