Kagama Punisher 4 with 3.8 tires?

So anyone put 3.8 tire/wheels on their Kagama4/ Punisher4? If so have any pics and what ya change out pinion size, etc....?
 
Be pretty much same as jambo or dementor except they 6s vehicles & have the longer arms but all on short wheelbase chassis
 
Maybe @ some point but for now got some proline hyrax 2.8's on the way. Price was to good to pass up, clearance sales. Basically half price to the normal.

You have to run Asuga arms or every time you hang a corner you'll drag the body with the front wheels. I have 10mm extended hex as well (when you adjust for wheel dish it's probably closer to 4mm).

If you go by what fits then the motor mount is 14/16/18t.

I've made changes to the truck. 6mm offset hexes with 4s Backflips, Max8/4278 G2 2250kv combo. Last week I ran it with a 16t and it ran hotter than I would like. Tomorrow I'll be running a 14t.

I list the setup so you know this isn't an apples to apples comparison.

The strange noise is probably because you're running your gear mesh on the very tips of the teeth. Go to a 14 in the 13 slot or a 16 in the 15 slot. This will get your gear mesh where it would be if you had set it yourself.
 
Ok, I run 10mm hex extenders and cut out the body to get rid of body rubbing. Will try the 14T. Is your car more of a stunt truck now with the 6S system? I assume you run 6S?

The truck is 4s. I call it a non-extreme stunt truck and general basher. My goal is for this truck to be reasonably good at everything. And to have no diff issues, I own Arrmas.
 
Ok nice. Is there any big differences with the Max8 combo compared to stock on 4S? And have you changed or done some tuning with the shocks? I have all the 6S diffs in my truck and next step for me is to get rid of the bouncing…
 
Sorry, I missed the second half of the question.
I'm running Asuga a-arms on my truck so the leverage ratios are different. Medium springs, 70wt fluid, and Corally upgrade shocks. I'm very happy with the setup.
