Soo shiny...want to touch!! This rig is going to be an absolute beast! Can't wait to see the end result and what an AI character will look like with either name 🤣🤣🤣🤣 you definitely have to share the choices as im sure there will be some winners 😆😆 good luck brother!!
Not sure I’m gonna go with the ai character they bit corny lol. I thought name krasugaton sounded a bit like a transformer so asked ai to create a transformer crossed with predator, adjusted prompt couple times these some creations it came up with but now I’m looking at 2000 ad comics & abc warriors think I’ve narrowed it down to a couple ideas but be last thing that gets done on build if do go that route.

KILLER IDEA!! SO GLAD YOU SAID ABOUT USING AI!

Won’t get time to work on this properly until I’m off work at wkend but put some bits on chassis to work some things out. I think I’ll be able to fit 1721 just about that was always the intention with this build. When I had it on Kronos chassis I thought I would have to cut the front chassis brace but it’s finished up stopping right at the end of the diff mount almost like it was designed for it 😅 the rear chassis brace I think I’m going to extend it so it finishes same spot motor mount side, I plan on having EVR make these, I could just leave adu brace at front but don’t want miss match of parts. Gonna have to trim side guards a bit for the battery trays & esc, I had hoped to still be able use the rear plastic braces from tower to chassis in original location but if want to use them I will need to move them inwards slightly & drill shock tower. Still haven’t decided on what towers I’m gonna use, changing body means I’ll need different body posts so will have to drill asuga towers or use ones from different model, leaning g towards Kronos towers atm. With No space left on chassis gonna have to get creative with the receiver box probably fit it to the t2t brace , little things worry about it later lol. But I willl dig the drill out at the weekend take brave pill and start drilling some holes in the chassis 🤞😅.

Drilled couple holes, motor mount & battery trays in. Need to make a base plate for esc to be mounted to & the servo mount is too high need to shorten the standoffs will also need a different servo horn/steering link with the servo horn moving across servo the steering link is too fat & hits servo so have ordered an arrma one they are flat. Unlike my previous assumptions front brace will need to be shortened also have length for rear brace now so be getting in touch with EVR for some more shiny parts , so now until I get the shock towers/braces & few other bits & pieces it’s a waiting game again.

EVR was backed up with a few orders to fulfill then he was going skiing so told me probably be about a month before can get my parts made, that was about a wk ago so decided to order the body, motor & couple other bits 1st. Bodyshell 1st to arrive JConcepts sledge f2 only rough cut for now to test fit but gonna need to get a little creative to clear the t2t brace at the rear but I’ll make it work. This body looks awful in pics JConcepts have on there site imo but a different paint scheme makes big difference so hopefully I can pull it off 🤞.

Next piece of the puzzle arrived, thought it was cheaper getting it from perfect pass until I got stung with £52 import fees ( trump can go suck a d$ck 🖕) & there was me thinking the £32 shipping fee was bad 😫😂. Anyway tight squeeze but it fits. Beans & toast rest of the month now lol.

Also got an adu reciever box though I don’t like how big it is so not going to use it so if anyone interested in it £25 posted uk. Still in packaging.

Slow progress atm, still waiting to hear from EVR for more shiny parts, until get them holding off on doing a few things just in case anything needs to move. But new receiver box arrived adu one was just too big for my liking, also needed to wait on carbon fibre, brackets etc to show up but it’s going to go on the chassis brace a few tweaks to make to it & cut it down a bit still but get you get the idea, esc & servo not drilled yet either just in place for now.

That looks absolutely beast! 😎🤩

Well 1 month turned out to be 2 months on getting these parts but they’re here now so just on me now to slap it altogether . Picked up a corally 8mm pinion , thankfully these fit the stock motor mount just about very little clearance but it’s enough & saves me having to get the grinder out.
