Problem with TC 7075 chassis

So came across a manufacturing defect on the 7075 corally chassis today, I went to put the side guards on and couldn't get the holes to line up, no matter how much brute strength & ignorance i gave it they just wouldn't go.
So instead of 4 screws each side there is only 3 so now im stuck on what to do.
If i contact the place I bought it from they will want the chassis back for inspection, absolutely no fiddlesticking way Im taking all this to bits again.

Do I run with it with a missing screw each side?
I fitted them to the old chassis and they fit fine so its 100% a defect with this chassis.

Anyway here's what she looks like so far, wheels and body on looking 👌.
Was hoping to get motor & esc installed tomorrow but now im stumped

TC are fantastic with customer support, if you send them a couple of photos showing it is a genuine defect they'll have a new chassis in the mail before you can say "i broke the control arms on my Arrma Kraton again"
Personally, I would just send it.
 
Yup send Corally an email they are really helpful. I ordered a part for my syncro 4 last year from a shop in the uk and it didn't fit because TC messed up the part numbers, they sent me the right one free of charge and shipped free as well :)
 
Luke from TC is forwarding it onto Stefan in the warranty department......

Don't hang around do they lol
 
Go back to TC head office- their customer support is awesome- I work in a service providing industry and TC are one of the best I’ve ever experienced!!
 
So ive had a response from TC,they said I can either send the chassis back and wait for another one (thats not happening as im not stripping it again) or i can keep the chassis, they said as a goodwill gesture is there any other upgrades I wanted for it but ive upgraded nearly all of it so I said the only things that would benefit me are a set of wheels & tyres. They replied saying they will be sending out a new set of wheels & tyres along with a set of their latest cvd's and a cvd upgrade kit for my current cvds.
All free of charge.
Absolutely fantastic service 👏
