My Sky RC GNSS Turned up today so when it finally stopped raining would be rude not to try it out. I put the off road wheels on as a bigger diameter. My 15t Pinion has not turn up yet so on standard one, for now
Could not do 0-60 as topped out at 55pm on 6S 38mph and on 4S, was still wet was disappointed with the 0-50 time !

Took off road a bit and got filthy so decided to make my own car wash with a puddle

The GNSS fit perfectly in the battery tray between battery and ECU

The wet conditions will negatively impact your 0-60 times (or 0-50), but you should be hitting 60mph on 6s, provided your cells are healthy and your gearing is what you think it is.

13/52 should be what your V2 Kronos is on.

A set of 150mm tyres would give you a rollout of 35.62mm/rev.

From that, we can calculate the exact speed to expect on a 2050kv motor running on a good, freshly charged 6S battery - which should give us 25v.

Deduct approximately 6%, or 4mph in this instance, for real world losses unaccounted for, and you're looking at 64mph.

Assuming your batteries are giving the expected charged voltages, it might be worth checking the ESC punch settings.

Driveline and bearings for freeness. Double check mesh on pinion/spur and even the inputs onto front and rear diffs if you're feeling determined. 😝

Your Kuron 825 2050kv has more love to give yet - so keep em' coming ....

*Ahem*... quietly gets Kronos and quickly prepares for additional speed runs.......😅

I have an Asuga not a Kronos and i got an extra 2mph buy putting on the off road wheels which are slightly bigger than the street wheels

I will try and check esc settings could be my controller Dumborg DDF350 not giving me full power I found a video you tube where they changed performance as was not giving car full power but can’t find that now either
Never thought I would have this much fun driving in straight line

Sorry, my bad buddy! 😅

The Asuga gearing is 13/52, but the wheels are 5.5" or 140mm diameter stock.

So you're looking at around 63mph theoretical, or 59mph with 6% losses.

This rollout is identical to my Kronos XTR when it runs on the Sweep Road Crusher slicks.

That said, unbelted tyres will do crazy things to rollout as they expand into donuts! Giving you higher speed but entirely unpredictable results. 🤣

Maybe the fastest Asuga and highest Jumping

Well just a joke really car was in my friends plane and decided to turn on SKY RC for a laugh :)

I managed to get an extra 3mph with a 15t Gear until motor seized Steering is still not right so had to keep correcting it so I am sure will go a little faster.

It's a solid start considering the motor was clearly about to say 'night night'.

Once you get a set of sweeps or equivalent road tyres and a replacement motor, you'll breeze past 65 mph. But it will never be enough! 🤣😅

Keep em coming. 👍💪

Infraction, dual 8bl150 g2's and castle 2200kv's, running 6s on each at storage voltage and very easy on the throttle, it's definitely got more in it.

God that's spicy! What's the thinking behind running the batteries at low voltage?
Just too keep the power lower, unbeknownst to me when I built the car I gave myself no room for adjustment so the way I have it geared is the only real option I have short of doing a spool with a smaller spur to allow for bigger pinions which I can't say I want for this car, and at its current 100mph setup it easily overpowers the tires. Here's an idea, mind you I'm purposely spinning the tires here, but this is it at storage voltage, punch is set at 3 out of 9, it's just ridiculous considering how low end the setup is.

Arrma are unquestionably kings of tarmac speed bashers

That is just plain bonkers!

I love it!!! 🤩😝

Yes, it definitely needs stickier tyres - but then for speed runs, all you need are tyres that don't fly to bits.

For hooning around, I suppose it's good to have a useable gear ratio - but if that's on storage voltage - holy smokes! 🤣😝

0-60mph runs - are without a doubt - a bizarre dance at the limits of torque, power, traction, and stability. Too much of one or the other - or not enough - and disaster ensues! 🤣

I thought my XTR was bonkers on 6S until I saw this! 💪👌

Yeah, this was on grp s5' treads, when done they were hot enough to glue themselves to my workbench though lol, the speed run I did on grp s1 slicks, still spun like crazy but probably not as bad?
Its a bit bonkers for sure, what's funny if you watch/listen close it becomes rather obvious how far the punch is turned down, the little bit of fighting the motors do coupled with moving from a stop you'll pick up on a little bit of a cog/soft start but once it figures stuff out all hell breaks loose, and this ones tame compared to what the next one is gonna be!
