Ahh, now that's a ballache, just make sure you get the confirmation over the messaging as you have there, that will help you when you have to raise the issue. In all fairness in the past when I've had to phone eBay and speak to a real person they've always been alright and quick to get things sorted, but you always have to wait for that initial period to pass before you can kick up a fuss

Lee Spring have responded to what I specced with some potentially viable options, which closely match the above requirements.

Getting springs for testing purposes - even un-coated - costs significant £££.

However, I'm happy for Home Here to test what we come up with.

They will have a slightly lower spring rate, due to the limitations of the rod & hole diameters and the maximum thickness of the music wire that can be used within these constraints.

We're talking about 16 n/mm rate - which is still pretty good. With solid length of 18.9 mm - which would afford at least 5mm of compression space. 👍🤓

When I get them, I'll send them out to Home Here to try. 👍🤞

If they work, I can get Lee Spring to pull the trigger on the appropriate spring specs and get them put into production for Arrma rigs. Finally! 🤞😎
