SHIROI New paint on the shiroi

I ordered a blank shiroi body as my current is getting pretty rough. Also i like my track cars to have my own livery.
It wasn't really clear if the body kit would include the full cage (the price certainly feels like it) Luckily it does:

I wanted to try acrylic markers to add accents, but ended up coloring a lot more:

I like the result. Obviously there are some spots(paint or marking) that could have been better

I will now focus on re-enforcing the weakspot.

Looks fantastic, is the truck bed transparent still or is it a trick of the light? Great idea if so

Its transparent indeed (didnt clean the inside yet)
Personally i like rollcages to be seen.

I am also thinking to do something with lights. Not so much for simulation purposes, but more race/video practical like lighting up the rear when i punch full throttle

The transparency looks great, very original. And I hear you on the lights thing. I have front and rear lights on my grom, without them I wouldn't be able to see what direction it's facing when it's in the distance

I joined the Shiroi club yesterday. Ordered a red roller, hopefully arrives soon. Do you have any final pictures of your custom body? What about that flap with the number? Is that screwed on? I see it as a weak spot that will break immediately

I've not done much more just yet. Only a red ledstrip to light up the rear. It's become a shelfqueen body
As our bash/racing is pretty rough i've still been driving with my old body:

It has been raining again and today we even had ice pellets. We'll be driving on sunday this weekend as it seems to be the most sunny. Here it's more likely to be wet and thus muddy, dry is more an exception unless its the middle of the summer

The flap with the number seems to survive everything.

Good to know so I'll keep it on. Was thinking of removing it to protect it. Mine will probably eat way more dust then mud

Yes it came directly from Corally and came with all parts that are bolted to a body. Full cage and all

It’s so bad that the description doesn’t tell you what you get, I just thought my LHS was being lazy, but looks like Corally are the same..

I thought the clear body was a bit pricey compared to the painted (complete) body on the TC website. But I wanted to
‘make’ own and was surprised to see it came with all parts to make a complete body!
