Must be a reason the futaba 10XCR cost that much and it does look cool , think I will stick with my peasant spec DDF-350 .

Bet that Futaba doesn't have crippling lag going through the menus like the DDF-350 , continental drift is quicker than trying type a model name on the DDF-350 :p. Still cracking bit of kit for the money :)

It's my next radio for racing with. Purely because a lack of receivers for my 3VCS on FASST.

I like the idea of F4G receivers - with entirely built in antenna and super high response. 👌

However, I was teasing really - it's insanely expensive for someone looking at Dumbo radios to be fair. But - it's a really nice bit of kit.

I've had my 3VCS for about 21 years - for all my rigs, including all the cars I've raced. Flawless. 👌In fact, I also had a 3VC as well - for the kids to use racing.

I finally bought the Flysky FS-G7P+. It has everything I need in terms of features, but especially because ANT protocol, it's as fast as the Futaba S-FHSS and reliable, the receivers are cheap (FS R4B).
There's no official data available, but the Beaver's Hobby channel has speed tests of several transmitters, and they've also tested them.

Hi, the fans have arrived, any recommendations on where to route the wires?

Most people route them to a power source. I chose to plug an extension into my rx and vhb it to the side of my rx box. That way I can easily disconnect the fans for service. I don’t recommend routing to a gearbox. The movement of the gears does not translate to a movement of the fans, as much as I wish it would.
