Alright back for more input. I can scoop up a brand new Arma Senton 4x4 Blx V4 for $200. Any reason not to pull the trigger, I don't have to have it but that price is real tempting. Or should I just wait and eventually get one of the others i mention. No racing will be involved just hooning around in the dirt. Anyone have one with pros and cons. If I got a 1/10 scale SCT i was origianlly leaning Habao or the Associated pro4, but this price is quite amazing i feel. Plus gives me some room to put a different ESC in it with one of my extra receivers.

I don’t have a Senton 223s, but comparing it with a Shiroi is like apples and oranges. Yes, they both are an SCT, but one is a 1/10th scale 2s or 3s car weighing around 3,5KG, while the other is a 1/8 capable of 6s (although in our group we run them on 4s with a bigger pinion) weighing close to 5,5KG.
USD 200 for the Senton is a pretty good deal, but only if you will not regret getting the Shiroi later on😉.
 
Thanks, yes I'm aware of the differences between the 2 and substantial they are. Wasnt really comparing it to the
Shiroi, just wasnt sure best way to label the thread. Mainly wanted to know if someone has the new V4 and any reason not to grab it for so cheap other than the lvc issues they have had with ESC's. Or just wait and eventually get the Habao 2.0SCT. Again no racing, just playing in the dirt wherever some obstacles can be found

The Shiroi would be epic though!!!!
 
I think you can upgrade it with the new centre diff the new arrma 3/4s come with not 100% sure but if so means you can modify down the line if so.

The Mojave 4s same platform I believe but updated has been brilliant no issues for me just keeps on going and my most used truck so it's little brother got be fun for ripping about 😀.
 
Good to hear about the Mojave. The Senton V4 which this one is has the center diff from factory so already covered there.
Appreciate replies, gonna scoop it up.
