Kids and cars

Has anybody encountered a similar problem?
My youngest son(24 years old) constantly takes my cars to bash because he says "they run better"he is constantly breaking his gear and all i do is fix them for him.
I have explained to him that I fix and maintain my cars whilst all I do is fix his one's in the hope he will want to learn how to look after his own equipment.
I love spending time with him running our cars but the constant bash it and give it to dad to repair is pissing me off.
