Thankfully there are people out there that still like people playing actual instruments. The irony is that our singer won a national Karaoke competition. Our brass section are proper, young up and coming jazz musicians. And the rest of us are old school rockers.

We don't do that many Rock covers, which is a refreshing change for me.

After a few years hiatus, it's nice to circuit playing stuff that people are familiar with.

However, I still feel the urge to play original songs as well, but that's an entirely different ball game......I really should know better! 😅

I think with the way things are going nowadays people will eventually start to really value in person experiences over digital versions, and at the end of the day all the major movies / TV shows have realised how much more powerful an orchestral soundtrack can be :sneaky: haha no way! what a mix! maybe from time to time some old rock covers at the right venues could be a shout :cool:
