My hope of it being cheaper than a K6 EXB probably wont happen if its indeed that limited.
I think it will be a similar price. In the uk a Kraton exb is £780 , stock Kraton £649, £130 difference. Stock kagama £539, Id be surprised if corally asked for £240 more over stock kagama price it would take to make it more expensive than a Kraton exb even for a limited edition but who knows. I’m hoping it’s just reintroduction of the XTR range and the limited edition is just a roll out model, I’m hoping they release regular xtr versions of kagama, Asuga & spark for the masses 🤞

I can't thank you enough for this!! First thought that popped in my head... F%@&... I PROBABLY MISSED IT!! Any early speculation as to what 999 means? Also can someone catch me up on 999? I know it's a badge on the Kagama 6s, probably others for sure.

As it’s limited edition I’d guess 999 of them so if you’re not on the ball when released you might still miss it.

Now that the cat is out the bag, how does every one feel ?

At 819 Euros it’s probably gonna cost like 1500 Canadian dollars. That’s a bit out of my price range.

It Looks like an absolute beast though

Well he said they were sent out prior to the big tariff so 🤞. It's easy to build a kagama to this it's just the specialty colors and number badge on the chassis. Such a beautiful looking truck. I've been looking f.or updates but I hope they aren't priced insanely 😕

I'm liking the rig! It looks really nice. Decent radios too, albeit I can't use pistol radios. 🤣😅

Well, 1400 people watched the video so far. I reckon 999 units will be snapped up in less than a month......

I was wondering if the radio is even worth it really? Luke seemed like i am simple and basic does just as good IMO.. but ya lol. Anyone suggest the finger thingy for the steering wheel? I obviously don't know the name of it lol

Being able to set some exponential is cool under certain conditions. EPA, ABS, Sub-trim, Centering, programmable mixing etc are all useful stuff and aren't typically associated with RTR type gear.

I generally prefer linear steering and throttle response, even if it means much smaller inputs.

What are your guys thought on what Luke said? About what @Horatio just mentioned about EPA,ABS. I believe Luke mentioned that really they don't exist?... or that really with the scale of the models it's more of a very minute adjustable option?? If any of what I said makes sense lol

Think they said in video it drops on Tuesday
I was confused to what the 15th is like.. he did say the cars are out already so it's a matter of finding the dealers with them and being ready to reserve or buy. Definitely going to be $1k ugh. Yet really if I want a shelf queen.. I buy this... otherwise the obvious choice here is a Kagama roller (which are on sale right now!!) And all the specialty parts once available. I'm guessing after all said and done... $420 roller then 400 500 for the hopups?

I was impressed looked amazing but being new to the car side not sure if I wanna shell out 1k for a shelf display queen. I have some very expensive jets but all get flown regardless, this though is so nice the first damage I’d be pissed with myself. Not sure and since I only have the Kagama4 and Spark I’m on the fence right now

They 100% exist, but perhaps he doesn't use them himself. Let's hope not at any rate - not at the Nationals! 😅👍

ABS is a function on my 3VCS, as is launch control and throttle servo acceleration control. These are not sensored systems like on a full size car, but they 'pulse' the brakes.

Such driver aids would possibly help in low traction conditions, but in many race series, use of such aids may be a breach of the rules - check the small print in ROAR and BRCA. Certainly stability aids are outlawed - which is why people that are interested in one day attending sanctioned racing events should probably not get too dependent on Dumbo gyro RX's.

ABS can do nasty things to digital servos, too, so on balance, it's probably a better idea to adjust the maximum braking force according to the conditions during open practice and stick to that for qualifiers and finals.

I doubt ABS would work predictably with ESCs.

Useful gizmos are EPAs, Subtrim, ATV, model memory etc - used for setting up any surface model, regardless of racing. 👍

I priced a roller plus some the upgrades though the 7075chassis not in stock so doesn’t include it, nor the new transmitter. Does include the 7075 centre diff bulkhead which not sure if it’s included on the limited edition but even so. The limited edition seems like an expensive proposition but if you add up price parts individually plus the fact this total it doesn’t include the 7075 chassis @€142 & the transmitter, you’d easily be over €1000 euros , so it’s really a good price the limited edition just hope they do release xtr roller versions of it & other models in future also.

When you do like your saying costs are usually higher than the model itself. This which I realize lots would bind to there own radio incudes one. Not sure the cost of this one but say $50 for it raises the cost even more. I do like what I saw yesterday I’ll make my mind up once I see the out the door price here in the US. Would guess AMain Motion Rc will carry them so I’ll be looking this week myself

That price Ive totalled up you still need to add motor/esc combo to it also but like you said it always work out more expensive pricing it individually plus you’d have spare chassis, towers, diff bulkheads etc but it’s still pretty good value overall I think.

Still no good pics of the new top deck/upper hinge holder design. It’s the one area of new corally models I don’t like how the top deck upper hinge pin holder & chassis brace are all plastic one piece. Prefer how they done it and offered 7075 pieces on older models for all these parts. But I guess they think current design setup good enough doesn’t require 7075 treatment. Still a beast! If had the funds for one I’d buy a spare chassis keep the original and send it not one for shelf queens myself. Would you bash it or have it as a shelve queen?
