Corally RC's
  1. Muraco
Thought I'd start a build thread. Finally got my hands on a Kagama i've been thinking about getting one for a while but then picked up a cheap Asuga roller, and had no cash. Sold my Traxxas XRT last weekend so had some money to get the Kaga.

The Red Rollers have been out of stock in the UK for a while, so I opted for the green one. I'm selling the body if anyone's interested?

Quite surprised... I didn't really rate the looks of the Kagama in pictures/videos but in the flesh the bodies not too bad 🤔

Target is a budget build using electrics from other RCs... and keeping an eye out for discounted alloy braces and new wheels.

Not many offer braces for kagama, corally hasn’t released much in 7075 for them, only other options is really adu or Erik Van Ravenstein (you’ll find him on corally bashers group fb just pm him if interested in his parts) AliExpress have some discount vouchers atm not a lot but bigger vouchers more you spend, every little helps.

Yea I've had a few bits off him for my Shogun. I'll see if he does a rear beace for the Kagama.

First upgrade, fitted a Jconcept body from my Shogun to the Kaga

It’s one thing corally needs to improve imo they’re truck bodies just don’t look very truck like or as tuff & aggressive as a lot of other companies. Even they’re liveries don’t look as good the buggies ain’t bad I’m a fan of green & like radix body but still not as good looking as some of the arrma typhon liveries for comparison.

Nice another green Kagama😎. I agree the green grows on you.

The wheels are OK, the side walls are a bit soft but the wheels a relatively light for its size.
Maybe some Backflips or Backflips LP?

True although their Shogun and Muraco are two of the best looking and unique bodies IMO but I might be biased :D . Also like the Jambo and front on view of the Kronos. Corally have made some good looking bodies, just need a few tweaks.

I tried the 4s backflips but they looked a bit small, may try the 6s to see how they look and drive. I didn't like the green enough to keep it, gonna sell the body use the money for other mods. It's not the colour just the shape I'm not digging :)

Spectrum esc/motor installed.. Went with a 12t pinion, £11 GX servo and Noble radio/reciever. Just need a dry day to test it all out.

That the 2150kv you’re starting with should still rip on a 12t. With twin fan setup you got should be fine with temps depending how trigger happy you are maybe room gear up. Let us know how it goes, you got gps?
