Yeah trx cups are woeful.
I use vitavon 4 way drive cups and they are pretty much indestructible
Nice, I’m always looking for the cheapest upgrades. I actually bought some diff cups from the same company I got the Xmaxx cups from on Amazon for my E Revo and they’re junk.. go figure! Sometimes it doesn’t work out🤷‍♂️

Cool! I looked at the pricing on the GRP shocks for the Arrma, very reasonable indeed! About what I paid for take-offs from Jenny’s.
Which stand offs should I use with the gpm shocks? The std arrma ones, gpm ones or std kagama ones?

Good question, I’ve heard of both Corally and Arrma standoffs breaking many times over. I have broken one TC but no Arrma standoffs.. if you’re ordering from GPM already I’d give them a try. Save on shipping. I’m not a good person to answer that since I don’t break my rc’s much.

Like I said, I’ve been impressed with their steel parts thus far, the front cvds and output cups on my Kraton 8s from GPM have held up great. No visible wear at all. If you’re looking for something more aesthetically pleasing maybe try some titanium standoffs, Scorched RC and others offer them.
I only live 3 miles away from scorched so I may pop in and see them

Personally never had an issue with Corally shocks, other than breaking rod ends, I'd rather have a weak point in the ends or shocks rather than somewhere else on the car that's more expensive or awkward to repair..!!
Biggest bonus is Corraly complete shocks and spares are cheaper to replace, also don't need to buy in pairs etc...

The stock Corally 6s shocks are doing all right on my Radix and Spark.
But i have Arrma 6s shocks on my Asugas, the Shiroi and my own Shiraco mix, because most of the Corally shocks on these have either bent, or leaked.
The Arrma shocks have proven to be tougher and more reliable.
I am currently waiting for parts to rebuild the Muraco with a bunch of upgrade parts. I will fit EXB shocks on this one too.

Which stand offs did you use to fit them to your corally cars?

Yeah thats what I thought.
How can modelsport/gpm list these for a kagama when they are the wrong size
15mm longer shocks might be considered an upgrade for some. 😉 Especially on a jump rig.

On a 6S rig, longer front shocks shouldn't be an issue provided the shocks aren't sitting on the pistons at full droop - ensure the droop screws are setting maximum droop, not the internals of your shock.

I'm pretty certain that reducing the preload should help get the ride height the same as the standard shocks, along with trying different mounting positions on the arm and/or tower.

No complaints with my Corally shocks on either the XTR or LE.

EXB shocks are slightly burlier - but they're also heavier

These GPM shocks are using thicker shocks shafts supposedly, so should be stronger. 🤷
