Kagama How many Kagama 6s past versions?

I'd like to buy a used Kagama 6S online. But I have no clue how to tell whether it's the latest released version. I tried to search online, some said Kagama only has one version (released in mid 2023); some said that Kagama has 3 versions (first relased in 2020, second in 2023, third with minor update in 2024). Anyone knows which is correct?

And if there are multiple past versions, how can I tell the version from the exterior?

Appreciate your help!

Think you’re confusing the Kronos & kagama few variants of the Kronos only 1 version of the kagama been released up to now, but there a limited edition in the pipeline if check out other posts about it.
 
I looked into used when I bought my Kagama 4 and to be honest unless you know the owner be very careful. The ones I looked at ended up being as high or as close to a new one so I just bought new that way no worries about anything. The few I saw were like new used but damn when I can buy new for $20 higher why buy used
 
If you don't mind driving a buggy that's the size and weight as a truck you can get an Asuga XLR roller for $340 from RC Hobby Explosion with their current sale price and $40 off coupon. Then just throw a HW 4S or 6S Quikrun combo in it. No radio or servo included of course but if yoiu have other tr4rucks you can repurpose one of those, or just bite the bullet and get a proper Flysky or Radiomaster computer surface radio to put all your vehicles on. That opens up options like expo on steering and throttle a throttle kill switch, fail safe modes etc.

So from the people I've talked to I've also heard of a new model this year and I'm waiting for that because welllllllllllll..... though the Kagama Xp compares to the EXB kraton..... I just know deep down I'm my RC soul that they are dropping a response to the Kraton EXB!! Fingers toes arms legs etc...are crossed hoping I'm right! I'm dying to get a 4s basher but I'd wait for that beast if possible!

The Kagama already is the Kraton (EXB) competitor. The Kagama LE takes it to the next level.
No details yet about the new electronics of the the new Kagama LE yet, but I think it's a 4585 motor. I have the 4990 in the Kagama and I had to shave about 1-2mm off the shocktower braces and one of the side guard screw mounts. It's a close fit.:D Size wise, 4585 would be a perfect fit without any (although small) modification needed.
 
Lol I have the 4990 and max6 waiting for a home... I was going to obviously upgrade the kagama but I'm thinking Hobao Hyper Mt plus 2... I have an XTR and that was my first thought but I'm still in the building process. Also started my own business so busy asf currently but man that RC bank account is getting FAAATTTT!!! THANKS FOR THE INFO BROTHER!

Put the 4990 combo in het Kagama;). The Kagama is heavier than the Hobao, so will benefit more. Someone in our RC group has the Hobao MTXE, it;s a wheelie machine for sure!
Getting the 4990 in the Kagama only needs very minimal grinding ( about 1.5mm) of two plastic areas; see below. The shock tower brace since the 4990 is about 1.5 mm to long. The screw button under the motor since the 4990 is about 1mm to big in diameter. With a Dremel it's very easy to do.

If you have the Max6g2, pair it with the 4990 so you can run sensored.
If you have the Max6g1 (v3), it’s a non-sensored esc, so you won’t benefit from the 4990 sensored capability.
Choices, choices😄
1. It you have the max6 g2 and 4990 -> Kagama.
2. If have the max6 g1 and the 4990 -> get a max6g2 and a 4985 or4292. Put the g2 combo in the Kagama and the g1 with 4985 or 4292’in the XTR.😎

Kagama and XTR 🤔. Don’t get me wrong, both are cool but both serve more or less the same purpose.

^^My first MT rc ever....this isn't mine lol. I do have the box still but my truck definitely doesn't look like the pictures right now.
I just love being able to rip dirt roads then make my own! If you get what I'm saying!
