Depends on budget but onyx & smc probably top of the list in terms performance. Gens-ace & chnl also good reputations . Another popular budget brand is hobbyking batteries. There new boltx range seems to getting positive reviews but haven’t tried them myself. If starting out I probably recommend them to start out with, just make sure order batteries that fit battery tray.

CNHL represents a fair balance of being affordable whilst not being completely crap. Ok for casual bashing, I would advise getting bigger than 3000mah if you like to keep that throttle wide open.

Can I ask why do you want 3 cell?

5000mAh seems the sweet spot for me enough juice keep it going for a good 20mins+ depending on how hard you smash the trigger and it keeps the weight down so it doesn't bugger up the handling of the truck.

From the experience with 4s trucks when I use 3s it never feels right and when I whack a 4s in its way more fun 😄.

For plug and play get the ones with a xt90 plug as that's what comes with the Corally 4s systems.

These always have offers so should find something to suit:

A lot of us are in blighty too, obviously don't know what your local shop has in stock, but a lot of uk model shops online will all carry a good range of batteries. Definitely get a 4s , you'll be doing yourself a disservice running it on 3s

Just using modelsport as an example, here's a few of the sort of spec you might want to look at

If you're not in a hurry ordering direct from CNHL is pretty much almost 30 to 40% less than those prices

Some cheap options on AliExpress also that ship from uk distributors. 2x4s hoovo for little over £50 the connector required is xt90

I just found this on AliExpress: £84.39 | 2PCS HOOVO 2S 3S 4S 6S RC Lipo Battery 7.4V 11.1V 14.8V 22.2V 5200mAh with T XT60 XT90 EC5 Hard Case/Soft Case For RC Toy Parts

Those 120c's look interesting, might do some research

Just ordered some of AliExpress 2 6500 mah 120 burst 14.8v with discount £47.52 I'll let you know what there like cheers for information

2s batteries have got to the most commonly stocked in any hobby shop, if you are in a pinch 2x2s=4s. You just need to wire a jumper and another connector to the ESC.

I contacted team corally and they sent me a picture of a connector that had one connector to go to esc and two battery connectors like a y shape then I went on AliExpress and found two hoovo 14.8 v batteries 6500mah and 120c burst so not a bad price really Amazon wanted nearly £80.00 so good price from AliExpress free delivery and should be here in 3 days so I'll let you know wot there like thanks for information has I've got some 7.4 volt batteries that I've never used checked them the other day and they are still charged to 50% thanks for information and have a great day shez

Yeah if you ok with soldering, you can skip 1 of those connectors and save some weight. If you refer to 6s kit pictures you will see what I mean.

Or Arrma 4s kits pictures.

In this hobby, soldering is a skill / setup that will get you a long way and save you a lot of coin in the process.
