I run 0° Kick on my Carbon chassis - and my Ackerman plate does not touch my drive input.

Something on your rig might be bent out of shape?

Decidedly odd. Sorry I haven't got any other ideas what it could be.
 
Only thing slightly bent is my front tower but that should not be related. Will try to force it a bit more straight though.
 
The front off the chassis is not flat with the rest of the chassis & kicks up at the front. Yours looks quite flat so maybe your chassis is bent causing your Ackerman issues

Been thinking. Isn't it actually TOO bent?
Because if i bent it up even more the drive would sit even closer to the Ackermann.

Besides, i would have no idea how i could've possibly bent it that way.


Edit: tested angles and i now know why it should be higher angle to be further away from Ackerman 😅
Will heat up plate and gently bend it up a few degrees.

So in the end i mixed up everything and added another fix on top of it.
I slightly bent the chassis up (not much because it turns out 2€ gas heaters for sugar aren't made for that).
Got better but still touched when i pressured the shocks.
So i changed them from lowest to highest again as well since i don't go for steet conversion any more anyway.
Then i added some shims to the button of the servo saver posts. About 1 mm thickness. That helped a lot. Sure, top side isn't flat any more as it should be but then again, it solved the issue.

Will see how it does long term.
 
I've pretty much given up running on asphalt with my Asuga, it eats the tires no matter the brand, cheap or expensive none last more than 20 packs or so.

Changing the center diff oil from 100,000cps to 30,000cps seemed to stop the uneven tire wear. So now it's 30,000 front 30,000 center, 20,000 rear. Before the tires would wear on one side or the other depending on front or rear after they all wore more or less evenly and the same front and rear. Asphalt still eats tires like nobody's business however. Center diff still runs hot but the temperature doesn't seem to have changed much vs 100,000csp diff oil.

So, the cup does indeed not touch the ackerman any more, that's a plus.
However, my front cup screw keeps getting loose, no matter what i do. Even put on the hard screw lock stuff. Didn't even hold for half a pack and i was testing carefully with about half of full power.
Really not getting as to why this keeps happening 🤔
