Actually, following up on this thread. The benefits of running the ESC's BEC at 7.4v are well known I think, servo will have more torque and it might even be a bit faster, fans will blow more air keeping things nice and cool, even the receiver might have better reception (speculative).
But what about the downsides of running at 7.4v vs 6v? Will it drain the battery faster? Will it put extra strain in the ESCs components? I'm all ears!

That's good to hear. When i got my program car (blue hobbywing one) i am gonna change voltage 2I run my Sketer at 7.4V without any issues so far … even if the receiver is only spec’d from 4.5 to 7.2V.
