Just a thought,
Getting ahead of myself a little, but do team corally make their cars backwards compatible like other brands, had the asuga 1 month and have just realised that it's a 23 model. Will I be left not being able to find parts as it gets a little older. It's going to be a long term rc car and I would like to make the most of it. Also, are the asuga stickers not too good quality, I've only tipped over twice on grass and the wing sticker ripped, never had it happen before with any other brand
Thanks

Still get parts for corally models which are much older than Asuga wouldn’t worry about it

Yeah the stickers love to crack because the wing flexes and peel off the wings, well my syncro 4 did. In the end I just took them all off and left it black cuz it looks cool 😎

I suppose we can't have everything, the radio is cheap also but the build quality makes up for it.
The wings all black do look good, eventually I'll get a custom paint job for the asuga

Aye dunno about the asuga wing but the syncro wing flexes like mad so I gave up on stickers. Not a fan of the little doll like transmitter that came with it so whacked a Dumbo receiver in it and paired it to a Dumbo ddf- 350 cracking radio gear for the money if your after a replacement.

I went with a Radiomaster MT12, I'm already familiar with OpenTX / EdgeTX from my Horus X10 and Radiomaster T16S MKII. If you're not used to it it's way of inputs -> mixers -> outputs then it can be confusing at first. It comes with a generic car model you can just use though and Joshua Bardwell (Youtube drone guy) made a more advanced surface vehicle model you can download and put on the SD card. The biggest stumbling block is that EdgeTX. Companion doesn't support the MT12 yet so you have to do all radio programming though the UI on the radio for right now.

Also I knocked it off a park bench onto concrete and it literally bounced and survived with only a near invisible scuff on the edge of the bottom of the grip where it impacted.
