Boy o boy...

I believe you will need to cut the sidewall to fit that ESC and motor. I had to do the same thing on mine to fit a Castle 1770 and Mamba Monster X 8S. I also had to switch to the smaller spur gear.

The esc is in, using a 8mm spacer plate.

@Atomic Skull to fit the motor, I have to cut the sidewall indeed.
You switched to the smaller spur, because of the amount of power the motor has? @SirCrashALot explained that to me.

A challenge I see now is are the motor wires and the body.

I changed to the smaller spur so I'd have more room for the motor.

I'm using a 16T pinion, motor is 1650kv.

The tires are $35 Hyrax clones from Aliexpress with the insides strapped with Gorilla tape to make them DIY belted.

The blue thing on the receiver box is a DIY 14000uf capacitor pack I made to handle voltage sags caused by the servo.

I highly recommend using a somewhat soft throttle response on an overpowered setup like this else it can cause excessive wear on tires and drivetrain components.

Thanks for the info. What kv motor do you run?
