Kagama ADU metal front rear diff cases

Hi,

So I got my ADU metal diff cases and they also came with 4 shims, do I need to use or are they just spares?

If I do need to use them I presume they are for behind the 4 gears that make the centre X, if so are they as well as the existing shims or do they replace them?

I got no instructions just a bag with them in

The original shim on the left is 0.2mm, the ones from ADU are 0.3mm

I am just waiting on absolute 100% confirmation from the seller but it looks like the original shims are to be replaced with the new shims as in this photo.
This also sounds the most likely scenario but I wanted to double check
