I just push the antenna back in the receiver box untill only a small part is outside the box. Never used the antenna tube.
Oooooooh smart.
Maar dan moet je bijna alles "opfrommelen", is dat goed voor de antenne?

Do not fold the antenna! The antenna will ‘curl’ itself inside the recever box.
Just pull the entire antenna through the antenna hole of the receicer box top plate. Then just push/slide the antenna back untill only a small part is outside the reveiver bix, about 4-5 cm. That way the antenna cannot reacht tthe pinion and spir gear..

Pulled the cash trigger, bought a green Asuga roller. 💵💵
300 euros incl shipping to the NL.

I think I need some guidance for mounting a motor, when are the spur and the pinion too tight/close?
I didn't understand the explanation from TC, by putting a piece of paper in between.
Who can explain it with simple words?
I’ve been waiting for Asuga rollers to be in stock in the USA since June. I bought a spark instead but have an Asuga on back order. Clearly they may never be available here. :(

Damn, so 439 euro, without shipping is 521 USD.
Incl shipping = 534 USD, that is without tariffs.
Tariffs is about 15% = 614 USD. That is without handling fee etc etc just for a roller.
Better start a new hobby hombre.

So I drove it for 10 minutes, it is twitchy as Fπ¢K. I use a Radiolink RC4GS V3 and a R7FG receiver. The gyro is set at 50%, could that be the problem?
The tyres are stock btw.

I read the Radiolink manual so many times. I didn't understand like 50% of it, maybe even more. 🤣😭.

Any advice is MUCH appreciated.

I would indeed dial down the gyro to 10-30% depending on your preference.
Personally I find the Radiolink radio's to be rather twitchy to start with, but I am used/spoiled with a Noble NB4.
I don't know the program-ability of the radiolink by heart, but giving it less dual rate (especially in the center) will help a lot. You'd want the servo to react quickly at the extreme's but in the middle is should be slower and more accurate.

Thanks, that is exactly what Gemini told me to change. Dial down the gyro and change the exponantial stuff in the middle. 👍

Just went through a light dust of snow on 3s, still twitchy but less. Changed it to 6s, that was a big nope.
I had to make 3rd correction. The gyro direction was "correct" (you twitch to the right, the wheels also go the right), and had to reverse that.
Tomorrow a new day.

So I took the car out on 2x3s. The car is wild. I haven't touched the oils etc. The twitchiness is gone, it drives straight.
It made some tumbles and it is still ok.
I think the car is a success. 🎉🎊

Sooo, finally had some time to drive both my cars.
I have to say, the Asuga is sooo much lighter on the wheels than the Kagama.
Cannot wait till my spare parts arrive for the Asuga. Gonna bash the hell out of both cars.

Btw : I really like having one radio for two cars.

Dutch weather suddenly is much nicer ;)

The Kagama feels like a boat compared to the Asuga, mostly due to the wheels though. You'd be surprised when you put the Asuga wheels on the Kagama
