Sketer Sketer Battery Straps...what gives?!

Hey All, Anyone have a great set up with battery straps in the Sketer? Such a great kit but the straps are just not functional...like, no functioning at all. Today I unscrewed the whole battery box, strapped the pack and then reinstalled the box. This worked, but is a dumb system.

Try using longer straps, Industrial Velcro or a combination of the two?

Never had an issue with mine, but a lot of people seem to. Wonder why? I do use a pretty large 4s pack, maybe that's why?

I’m starting to think all these battery strap issues are down do what size battery your using..!!
Big battery, no issues
Small battery, issues !!
The stock Velcro just needs a longer sticky bit or be dual one sided like some other RC’s

I also never had an issue with mine … using 5400mAh packs (138x48x47mm). I leave the ends like this, so it’s also easy to open:

I will get another 6500mAh pack next week, but it’s about the same size so should work as well.

Got the 5400 corally hardcase batteries. I strap them the same. No problems

I hate the battery straps that came with this car. I'm using Arrma 4s straps, sticky all the way around!

Battery tray dimensions: (LxWxH): 143×50.5×50 mm
So the answer is yes!

I use the team co rally upgraded straps on mine as original one broke from memory they did in different sizes too if that helps
i had to order them from co rally in europe as did not sell in uk

Yes my mac book would not type corally so gave up and typed it that way did not think it would matter
But maybe upsets some people
