I've run about a half dozen batteries thru the new sketer and have a squeak coming on... tried lubing some areas but no dice. Didn't think it'd be bearings after only a few runs.

It's functionally running great but that squeak... anybody have ideas what it could be? I've lubed all the major places I could find

Bearings would be my only guess but I'm far from an expert. Is it louder at higher speeds? can you isolate sides?

Not louder but definitely seems to change frequency. I've been unable to isolate because I can't get reproduce it on the bench. I could try the bearings... haven't checked the whole forum to see what bearings may be recommended

If you can't get it reproduced at the bench maybe you should try this

I'm going to try Acer racing or Boca bearings... I actually discovered boca bearings manufactures RC bearings in my town for several decades.. and not only do they sound great but I'll be able to buy local.

Still not sure it's the bearings just given how few runs I've done but easy enough to swap out and eliminate that as a possibility

I've bought bearings from Boca before they cost quite a lot more than everyone else but I couldn't tell the difference.

Perhaps they will last longer... I'm not sure. They are literally located down the road from me so I might try them out even if a little more pricey. Good to know tho!!

The ones I bought for my motor didn't last much longer than the stock ones did and they almost cost as much as the motor, this might have been impacted by the crappy motor module design of the 3s Arrma vechicles. But I didn't feel like tempting another $40 for 2 bearings.
I think on average they are about 2 times the price of everyone else.
