The other end of the sheet of aluminum was in my bench vise, those clamps were supporting the end that was loose n floppin'.
My bad.. that's a hunk of aluminum right there!!

Necessity is the mother of all creation, or so I've heard.

If I can't buy it, I guess I'll just have to make it.
Yup! Even when I can buy, I still prefer the satisfaction of making it. Usually not as pretty tho.. I couldn't care less myself.

The Kronos rear tower is not designed to use the Sketer rear tower brace

It mounts like so

Annoyingly, I had to open up the Kronos tower a bit for the screw heads to pass through

I'm not even going to bother looking that part number up.

I suppose you think it's a solution to a problem but I already know what the other towers+long arms do to the droop and I'm not giving up any ground clearance.

Plus, does it look like I'm going to abandon the Kronos tower at this point?

That'll never flex! Bet the tube bends 1st!🤣
If it does then I'll be sure to post pics of the carnage! It'll take a heck of a crash to do it and I'm sure that tube wouldn't be the only broken part.

With the rear brace in place I finished up the ESC plate.

Those three lower holes are where it attaches to the bottom of the battery tray. (No pics of that but I'm sure you can imagine it)

I'll mount the power button next to the ESC, also you can see how I'm using one of the brace screws to pass through the brace and to the ESC plate.

On this side of the ESC plate I'm repurposing the power button holder as a mount to the brace tube.

I've trimmed off the part of the button holder where the button actually went.

There are several points of this ESC plate where I just barely had enough room to fit everything where it needs to go but barely enough is just enough to pull this off.
