So I ordered a 22 xtr what are your guys opinions so far ? They looks pretty decent I'm a mild basher no big sends or major abuse.

From the review's I have read and the guys I know have gotten one they all say they are legit and hold up quite well to serous bashing so you should be gtg for awhile. But since we are best good friends if you want to send it to me for testing and to make sure everything will go good for you I will PM you my address, I will be thorough for you, It should only take a year to get it back. ;):giggle:

I only just assembled mine, see here.

My impressions are really good thus far.
The build quality was very good, better than my Kraton and Maxx v2 imo. Only exception are the turnbuckles, they seem lower quality and kind of out of place compared to the rest of the truck. The wheels are also kind of interesting, I don't know how they'll perform and it's strange that they don't have anything written on the sides, but I can live with that. ;)

I will have a careful maiden run later today - as I don't have one of the side guards installed... :ROFLMAO:

Yup it did good. I'm really impressed with them. The Kronos had bad press, mainly because Kev Talbot's friends didn't like it. But I like it better than my Kraton EXB tbh.

Let's be honest thought who gives a :poop::poop: about Kev Talbot and his friends..!!;)
I personally think that the '22 XTR is way better than the Kraton EXB by a long way ( just my opinion )

Well, he is an influencer in the RC community and a lot of people give credit to what he says.

I was quite surprised when I opened the box and looked at the Kronos, because (apart from the wheels maybe) it oozed quality.
AND I went through 2 packs and it still hasn't destroyed any diffs... :ROFLMAO:
 
A problematic drivetrain is one thing that really, really, really bothers me.
I'd rather replace a dozen arms than replace one stripped out gear.

Yes, i would also replace wing mounts, arms etc. rather than diffs... I want the drivetrain to be sturdy. RPM or others usually make arms later down the line, but finding another diff that fits is a pain.
 
Hey guys sorry for the delay yes she has arrived haven't run it yet due to Weather the rain over here in Aus has been bad lately....have put a max 8 combo 2200kv & 35kg brushless servo in it I also went through the car changed the diff fluids to 30,500,30 pretty much all ready to go I did notice the the rear Centre driveshaft has alot of back and forth movement is there supposed to be a little bit of fuel tube in there like the Sketer or no ? I didn't notice any fall out when I removed centre diff but I could of missed it???

Mine had a little tube on the diff side.

Rear diff side yes ? If so mine must have fallen out lol I thought there was to much back and forth play haven't run it yet so will sort it out before hand cheers for the reply man .

No, sorry, on the central diff side - I don't think I had anything on the rear side

Edit: I can check the play and make a video, if you do the same, we can compare. :D

Thankyou heaps for that yeah mine has double that play back and fourth I'm definitely missing the little bit of tube in there I will put some in the centre diff rear side cup like Sketer has, lol I thought something was up thanks again man.
