Corally RC's
  1. Sketer
Wouldn't have noticed this for a bit if it wasn't stuffed with grass after a jump.

Checked both sides and it seems they're both cracking. This is my first Corally rig. It's been getting some solid use and lots of air. The cracks appear to be isolated to the lower shock mounts. So far its holding up. I imagine it's only a matter of time before they fail...

That sucks. Hopefully rpm comes to the rescue

Wow multiple spots, Time to break out the CA!

Everyone on the forum needs to email RPM and request they start making a-arms for Corally RC's too.
The last time I did that they said they didn’t have enough versions out yet.. maybe they will respond if enough of us bother them! Haha

Bummer man! What’s the temp like?

Seems reasonable considering what I’ve seen you do to it in your vids! 😜

It's yours once I break-through rear arms. 🤣

Today, mid 70s. Coldest run was 42 deg when it was losing signal. Average temps are amount to today's temps. Also, I think I'm hitting the thermal cutoff. Motor and esc hit low 160s with my crappy scanner when she shut down on me.

I'm about to unleash another video too. I might need a new forum handle...🤣🤫

Are they buggy length arms? If so it’s no really surprise, they are still V1, the long arm trucks got revised and beefed up arms pretty quick, now the buggy arms have been put to test on a heavier bash type truck the weaknesses are now apparent, I’m pretty sure Corally will now revise them, so no need to panic just yet 👍

Same arms on the Sketer, Radix, Python, and yes they're still V1's. Never a real issue on the buggies but now yes with a heavier rig and larger wheels it seems to show their weakness, same spot as the V1 Kronos, Dementor arms. Real sure Corally will make a revision and hopefully a service pack later on.

Yeah that’s exactly what I said 😂

Corally will sort it 👍
yeah but i also answered your question :) and yes Corally will sort it, read it a thousand times before, kinda sad oversight from them though, they had experience with this cracking by the shock mount from the Kronos V1 and so on, it did take about 8 months before those arms got revised, hopefully it will go a bit faster this time.

I guess I'll have to submit a warranty claim. In the mean time, I'm buying another pair.

Well, I guess it's not just my bad skills that caused this. Full send!🤣🤣🤕

If it’s not a manufacturing defect, it doesn’t seem appropriate to warranty it.

At Radix and co. the shock absorber ends are narrower and there is more play in the wishbone!

Due to the wide shock absorber ends on the Sketer, there is no play! (Photo below) By processing the wishbones, they have play again and tearing of the wishbone is minimized! (Photo above)
